About:

are you terrible at making icons? are you looking for a specific image but cant seem to find it anywhere? do you want to learn about making images but have no where to learn? are you great at making images but have no where to show them to get feedback? do you like making images for others to use or teaching them how to do it themselves? then join mii_opia cos thats what we're all about!

mii_opia is partnering the creativity challenged (amateurs) with the creatively minded (experts). the idea is that if you're an amateur you'll end up learning something about the process of images and layouts and if you're an expert in one thing you can become an expert in another.

are (but not limited too) people who have never made their own graphix before, have a question about how to do something or would like to request something to be done for them.

are those who can answer questions about formatting, linking, image making, layouts, create tutorials or can answer other general and technical questions. experts are also those who have dabbled in certain areas and would like constructive criticism and/or feedback for their work.

1. do NOT be hateful. this includes flaming, bad mouthing, foul language using (in a derogatory manner), etc. etc. etc. no warnings, no second chances, if i see it or get informed about it you're gone.

2. REQUESTS are to be put in a post which will then be sent to one of the mods for approval. once it is accepted into the community one of the experts will either fulfill or contact you (via comment) about your request.

4. if you are an amateur taking an image (icons, colourbars, layouts, etc.) please leave constructive criticism for the expert. good ex: i think these are great but would like to see the lighting a little more... bad ex: these suck. you did a terrible job... etc. ALSO! if taking an icon you must credit and only use on lj.

5. if you are (or are given permission to post as) an expert please dont get mad when someone tells you they dont like the way you did a certain image. as long as there is constructive criticism that follows it, it is allowed. if you feel like you are being attacked, harrassed or just plain abused please let me know.
