AboutWhat's not to love about Midsomer Murders?
The twinkly eyed Barnaby? The way he sidled up to Jones and asked him out (to a murder on official police business, but who's being fussy because it was clearly love at first sight?) His love hate relationship with the Never Ending Legs of Scott? The fact that his relationship with Troy was doomed from the minute Troy cut his floppy hair?
Why is Joyce drawn towards corpses? What does Cully do all day? Does the pathologist wear anything under his slightly see through overalls?

Canon matters, keep it true to the spirit of the programme please, humour, passion, high camp, please steriotype all characters other than the leads. You get my drift. Any weird or worrying thoughts or dreams on the subject welcome.
All fic should be behind a cut, friends locked and rated! X rated fic welcome.
Actually, I'm going to expand this to include other ITV dramas, Foyles War, Poiret and Morse, others when people suggest them. Crossovers welcome, no matter how surreal.
Most of these series started off life as books so feel free to reference either incarnation.
