About Welcome to the Midi:Nette Icontest community. This community is an icontest community much like any other except this community focuses on artists from and related to the production label Midi:Nette. Every week a theme will be announced and participants have that week to turn in their submission(s). During this the previous week's submissions will be in the voting process and everyone will have until the end of the week also to vote for their favorite submissions and after polls close the winners will be announced. Anyone may join the community to participate in the weekly contests and/or vote. It is not required to participate to vote or vice versa.  1. All members will behave with civility and maturity. Don't take it personal if you didn't win a contest. The purpose of this community is to have fun. 2. Midi:Nette and Midi:Nette related artists only. The extension of the relation will vary with each theme. If you aren't sure whether a certain band/artist is allowed please feel free to contact a mod. 3. Only members may enter contests and/or vote. 4. Sumbissions must abide by the LiveJournal guidelines (max 100x100 pixels 40kb). 5. Contest participants may not post their submission(s) outside of the community until that contest is over. 6. Contest participants may not vote for their own icon(s); contest participants also may not force their friends to vote for their icon(s). 7. Contest participants may submit up to 3 icons per contest. 8. Members may vote only once per each voting session. 9. Contest participants may not submit icons that have been previously made. When voting, comment to the voting posts with the appropriate number of choices. The number of rankings will depend on the number of submissions: 1-5 entries: 1st Place 6-7 entries: 1st and 2nd Place 8-10 entries: 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place 10 entries and up: 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place and a special category like Best Use of Text 15 entries and up: 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place, Special, and Mod's Choice Voting posts are screened so votes will always be anonymous.
