Hokay, so! As decided in channel tonight, Rhaetia made an announcement at the masquerade last night probably sometime during dinner (or when everyone was gathered around, if there was no sitty-foody).
Juno is getting OOMPHED up on July 1st!
She'll probably throw up a notice on the journals tomorrow when she's less hungover. ;3
Also, any sagey/magey/wizardfolk who want to help with the casting should contact her somehow!

Alright guys, listen up. This is a pretty important post, and you all know I don't tend to make these often.
Needless to say, Midgard is no longer the game it was a year ago. We've lost a lot of good characters, a lot of good players, and many, many things have happened in the plot. We've done multiple timeskips, we've had a huge war, and now we're sitting around wondering what's next.
Midgard is, at this point in time, slowly crawling to an untimely death. While the game has lasted an impressive year and a half, I think there's life left in it -- we just need to know what to do.
This is when I turn to you guys, the players, and ask you what you want to see done.
Are there plots you want to see? Events? Would you like a really drastic change? Do you think the game should be let go? This is going to be an open discussion, and we're not going to look down on anyone for stating their opinion.
If it's something you really don't want the others to see, you can IM me at Tensokuu Star to let me know.

Okay people, here's a little information about tonight.
- The Masquerade begins at EIGHT O'CLOCK [Eastern Time]. Vidar is going to be hosting, and he's actually not going to be snarky. He seems to have settled down a lot, actually.
- Everyone will be checked for weapons upon entering the Masquerade. If your character has carried one with them, be it sword/bow/dagger/etc, it'll be taken by the guards until your character leaves.
- Near the end of the night, there will be a few shouts and a dead body will be discovered. Originally believed to be drunk, Roger Aratheon -- Senior Councilman to the King -- will be found laying outside of the pavilion, the only quickly notable cause of death being a small ring of blood around his neck. [ Go go Zack on this one ]
- This one is really important: ANY POSTS made until TUESDAY with [ MASQUERADE ] in the header will be considered canon for tonight. This is due to the fact that some of us are working (even I am tonight), some of us are on hiatus, and some of us just would rather wait until there are other players around to post. So the Masquerade is tonight, but you can technically post threads on it until Tuesday. See how nice I am? ;)
Other than that, have fun. I'll even state here, if your character was convicted of a crime? [Kingslaying, etc XD] they can still attend -- because the point of a Masquerade is to hide your face anyhow. :')

HI GUYS. :)
I know I have some logs and stuff to do with everyone. I just thought I'd post a note here to say that if you see me on AIM (and I'm not idle), you can totally feel free to ping me for all o' that. I know we all used to be around more in #midgard but I took it off my autojoin when the population/chatter got low. >_>;;
I'm still around, just completely forgetful. Yes, I might be cross-stitching or WoWing or something, but those are things I can multitask.
Anyway uhh... Rick just posted saying he's got jobs for everyone. He meant everyone, but honestly, I didn't really come up with anything solid for characters to do (my job is sapping my creativity. Help!!). Feel absolutely free to have your 'sins or retired 'sins pull something off. I know it's lame of me to not have something drawn up, sorry about that. Mods, I think it'd be neat if someone gets assassinated (no one high profile or played or anything) at the masquerade. Yes/no/fail?

Hiatus notice! I will be in NYC starting tomorrow and going until...Monday, I believe. I will have internet access at some points, but we're going to be four people on one laptop, very much not pretty. So either you can email me or comment here, and I'll get to it when I can.
Douwe is gonna be going to the party, so if anyone wants to log/thread anything with that just tell me here and we can backlog/backthread it. Benedetta might be? Still haven't heard. If she does, she will be taking advantage of the time in Prontera like crazy! If not, she is going to go get drunk in a bar in Morroc.

There will be a Masquerade in Prontera. This gives you guys SIX DAYS to figure out what your characters are going to do for it. EVERYONE is invited, and arrangements have been made with the Kafra already, so there's no excuses that "My character couldn't make it because they're too poor." =P
So yeah. WUT R UR KARAKTORS DOIN?

There is going to be a party at Marlene's house on Saturday!
The occasion is Soloma's birthday, which is also Saturday!
There is going to be an IC announcement so that EVERYONE knows about it, but some of you are going to (or probably already have) receive written invitations. That includes anyone that is a current friend of Soloma or Marlene, and the Sin Guild people that Soloma and Marlene were around during their time there. There is a clause on the invitation that states you can invite anyone else you want to tag along, though, whether they know Soloma or Marlene or not.
You can either respond here if you think your character is going to go (or not) or in the IC post!

This is the 2 week notice.
I'm leaving Midgard; I've got too much to do with SH, and I'm going to be fairly honest, ya'all won't listen to me when I say complain to the mods not me I'm not a mod, be direct please don't do this to me it's stressful etc. etc. etc., so the only solution I've found is to just walk away.
My apologies to any and all this will screw up.
Let's work it out! :D
I suggest you start taking your complaints to the mods.

So as of this log, Blaise and Quinn are 'converting' to the Unified Church so that they can get at the water and cause some mayhem. Any other CoH members are free to join the fun.
UC members, it's your choice what you want to do with this. The stuff in the water will probably only make people sick at first, and not everyone at that. So avoiding it entirely is possible! Also, feel free to play detective! ;Db

OKAY I'VE FINALLY GOTTEN MY CHARACTERS READY FOR THE TIMESKIP (stfu I'm slow)
Ryan Schroedinger has been doing whatever she's had to for work, and in her free time just dicking around SW and going wherever she can, mostly outside of towns. She's a regular at one of the bars in Hugel. Also she's gotten herself a cat. SCHROEDINGER'S CAT, GET IT? AHA. I confess. That was the whole reason I made her last name Schroedinger. :( If any of your characters made friends with her other identities (I have a list on her journal if you need to check), they won't know her anymore because she forgot all her fake hand-writing/aliases and doesn't care to check them.

Ren Taylor HIT PEWBERTEE. Holy crap. Anyway, he's working as many hours as possible. Haven't decided where or what yet, he's just trying to be out as much as possible to avoid his father.

Darren Emerson has been gaying it up with Devin going about life normally, very apathetic to politics.
Zero GREW UP. AAAAAAH. His personality hasn't changed much, though. He may be a well-known travelling bard by now, since he's been one for what-- 6+ years? I forget. X( Somewhere around there. Up to you if your character ever heard of him, though.

Past, present, or future CR anyone? Ryan's main location is the general Schwarzwald area, Ren's is Arunafeltz, but mostly Sachel, unless his job is in another city (where he works is undecided in case it'd be convenient for CR purposes), Darren's is Hugel, and Zero's is ...anywhere and everywhere.

Yet another gypsy! I'm Benedetta Makarios, a fortune teller of the tribe. I can BS use all sorts of fortune telling methods, from Tarot (my specialty!) to reading palms and tea leaves. You'd probably notice my mom before me, because she looks like a fortune teller, and I look rather like an imposter who's pretending she knows what she's doing, but I really do~

If you know me, you probably don't like me. I'm a cold-hearted jerk who'll tell you to piss off if you come to me for anything. Unless you're in my family, in which case I guess I'll try to pretend to be nice (but I'm not too good at that yet).
I'm really obnoxious and stubborn and never let anything drop so I'm exceptionally hard to get along with, but a very persuasive salesman.

It's never pleasant and I try to keep what I can pleasant.

You see that I'm not very good with my words, or rather keeping them in order? If you don't, you will soon. Therefore, I don't talk much but in succinct answers to specific questions. It's nothing personal, I only prefer to keep my mouth shut when I've nothing intelligent to say. This, well, this was all necessary, I find. I won't keep you like this again.
(The IBA stands for the Information Bureau of Arunafeltz. It's something like the Assassin's Guild of Arunafeltz, only more centered around espionage than killing. Send me, Lissa, an IM if you're interested in apping a character associated with the group. I'll write up a more detailed description for the wiki soon!)
