Molly Says: I didn’t read the box very closely when I first ate this dish, and was disappointed thinking that the sauce was alfredo. I didn’t think it would be fair to write a review having eaten the entire dish disappointed so I waited until I ate it a second time to write the review. I was still a little disappointed. There were 3 pieces of broccoli in the entire dish and they were probably the best part of the meal. Though small, the broccoli cooked up bright and tasty, as broccoli often does in a microwave. The pasta wasn’t bad, it was slightly gummy but not so much that it hindered the dish. The sauce was very thick and creamy, I thought it was a little too thick. The sauce was so dense it was as if someone had melted a thick full bodied cheese like Swiss into the dish, not parmesan. The chicken was ok, but was inconsistent. There were a few fatty pieces in the serving. The pasta, broccoli and chicken were swimming in a sea of excess sauce (that didn’t taste fantastic, as I said) and in all, this dish was mediocre. I probably won’t buy it again, but it didn’t make me sick or kill me so I guess that’s a plus.

I give Smart Ones “Creamy Rigatoni with Broccoli & Chicken”
* * 2 of 5 stars.
For its questionably thick sauce, inconsistent chicken, wimpy broccoli portion and slightly gummy noodles.

You know I might be slightly bias because I've just been eating so much Amy's that my expectations are a little unrealistic.
