» Community: CSI: Miami roleplay community. Yep it's for the nerds who just can't get enough CSIness! It's also not just for Miami, anyone from Vegas or New York is absolutely welcome. You can figure out how you'd like to come here via case or transfer. You can write in your own personal character journal for as long as you'd like before posting in Miami Dawn. Just make sure you post how you got to Miami. :)
» Posting: Obviously you don't have to be a post whore like myself but if you can try and update at least a few times a week and if you're leaving on any extended period just let us know in the OOC journal and if you'd like you can have someone take over for that time.
» Your Character: When you take on a role it becomes your role. There isn't any 'wrong' way to play it. It's your own interpretation of that character, get it? Play angst, lust, love, rage on whatever level you want. Also you can pick minor characters or even make your own up. Be a bad guy. Be an FBI agent. IAB whatever you want as long as you're good at it.
» Join?: E-mail R.C. with the character you wish to play plus a sample of your roleplay. We hate to be picky about these things, you don't have to be a Master at it but it'll help if you can string some good words together. If you need examples check out the journals here so far.
Important: Please make a character journal specific to this rp only. All new members will be required to have a dedicated journal for this rp only. If you are a current member with a rp journal you use in various rps please make sure your filter your entries so only MD posts show up on the MD friends page. If you continue not to filter you will be removed until you do this. Sorry!
Also please make sure you put all OOC posts in md_ooc. Your character journal is for RP only. We have the OOC for all important OOC info like commings and goings and events in player's lives, in-game plotting, as well as fun stuff like quizzes, etc. The OOC is spam friendly. ;) Just be sensible if posting about other RPs. We try to avoid links/references to other CSI roleplays because that can cause intentional/unintentional strife and drama. Just use your common sense.
» Roleplay: Anything goes. Slash, violence, gore. Limited death, obviously you don't want to kill your own character. Ratings: G-X. Any extremely long posts or a post with anything over the PG-13 rating should go behind lj-cuts.
» Age: 18+. Sigh. Since there is slash/porn in here I need to put this up. I'm not saying anyone under 18 is retarded or annoying or whatever else the hell people complain about, trust me I don't want this here anymore than anyone else does. We all love the porn and the violence, but I'm sure we'd rather not get in trouble for it ;)
Starting immediately, all player apps must include an age statement. There will be no exceptions.
» Miami Dawn: This community will only accept members with roleplay journals! Some people are submitting regular journals to the comm, you guys can watch it, that's kickass, but to be a member you need to set up a character journal. :) So set one up!
For Help/Questions: You can contact any mods. :)

» Disclaimer: "The administration and players of Miami_Dawn do not advocate the use of vigilante violence in the eventual destruction of cartel hitmen. All portrayals of such actions are fictional, and designed for entertainment purposes only.
Ditto rape, violence, the taking of illicit drugs, sex in public places, the attempted seduction of work-mates, and the sucessful fulfilment of said seduction, harrasment in the workplace, and the killing of elected judicial officials by means of explosive devices.
No animals were harmed in the making of Miami_Dawn, only Eric, Calleigh, Greg and Ryan, and FBI Katie. And Speed, but he got off on it. Nick also hurt his funnybone on the bathroom vanity, but it was his own damn fault."
