I couldn't get online last night but I watched the whole show. Great and I took notes of things I noticed.

Now a couple of times I caught a white mist around a couple of people. Others caught it too. However, it was mostly on the camera close up and it was very humid temps there last night. I think the weather was causing rather than anything paranormal.

Also, when Carl got scratched, he really was making too huge a deal out of it. I was expecting cuts like the ones that happened to Stu and John on the last live show. It really is difficult to tell if that was real or not.

Now though, I get images while I was watching last night once of ropes being looped around Yevette's neck after the first vigil in the hospital block. Also, during the first session with the spirit board, I saw an image of old fashioned shackles around Cierian's wrists.

Early on while in the visitation area, I also thought I heard a young person sob once. The sound was never repeated.

Did anyone else hear an old fashioned police radio in the background while they were in the Admin block? I thought I heard one and wondered if it was the team radios but they had not been using then that early. Also the chatter sounded like a police radio. I could almost hear a date given, but not quite.

Back during the first hospital block vigil when the camera focused on Cierian for a bit, I noticed the bed to the left of him rock back and forth briefly.

There were also many light anomolies last night that the team will catch when they watch over the footage later. I would have killed to have seen some of the webcams last night or to have been on the chat boards. *sigh*

What did anyone else notice?

'Most Haunted Live' is coming to the U.S. for the first time on Friday, June 1, at 8 p.m. ET!

For the first time in the show's history, the 'Most Haunted' paranormal investigation team will bring their hit special, 'Most Haunted Live,' to the United States for a live investigation from a top secret, yet-to-be disclosed haunted location. The Travel Channel will broadcast an unprecedented seven straight hours live on Friday, June 1, from 8 p.m. through Saturday, June 2, at 3 a.m. ET. Presenter Yvette Fielding, spiritual medium David Wells, and the rest of the 'Most Haunted Live' team will conduct the investigation.

Armed with night-vision cameras, thermal-imaging devices and other paranormal investigation tools, the team will perform a thorough investigation of the location and attempt communication with the paranormal. The team will have extensive access to the location, including areas that are not currently open to the public.

The 'Most Haunted Live' U.S. experience will be extended online with multiple Webcams streaming live images from select areas within the location. Users will be able to actively participate in the broadcast by posting paranormal sightings, well wishes for the team, suggestions on rooms to investigate, and predictions and premonitions on the boards, through text messaging and FAXing. Selected user-submitted comments will be presented during the interactive segments of the event, as well as scroll across the bottom of the screen during the live investigation.

A downloadable 'Ghost Detector' application will also be available for mobile phones. It's designed to detect subtle changes in electromagnetic fields, which is believed to indicate paranormal activity.

Hi everyone - I've just joined and thought I'd post an intro.

My name is Sarah, I'm 21 and from Merseyside. I've been a Most Haunted fan since the very beginning, and I've been obsessed with the paranormal since I was about 7 years old. Now I'm a member of a paranormal investigators team which I joined about 3 months ago, and it's a lot of fun! :)

Anyway, I don't really know what else to say.
But the Most Haunted live weekend looks interesting! So I can't wait for that!

As promised, here is my inaugral post of various Stuff What I Have Made, mostly icons and some other stuff...  I created a whole new Photobucket account to put all this dren onto, because it was hosted in various placed all over the web and I couldn't be bothered to go and hunt for it.  I will be nice and cut throughout.

Before that, though, a little explanation.  I was one of the very first members of mosthauntedgeek when it first opened, and back in the day (around the time of series 4 and 5 and the first few DVD releases) it was incredibly popular and active.  I was 'unofficially' a co-mod of the community but the original mod then disappeared without giving me the passwords or anything, so I couldn't do anything to advertise the community or very much else.  However, for the half-a-year or so when it was active the community was brilliant fun, as some of the backposts will show...

An offshoot was the creation of _mhotp_, which also then grew at an alarming rate.  Around about the time of the endless series 6, shortly before Derek left and the bad air started between he and Yvette, I lost interest.  I was going through some stuff at the time and pretty much dried up creatively and lost all enthusiasm to post there any more.  Other members also had various life stuff going on at the same time, so most of the more 'active' members of mosthauntedgeek subsequently stopped posting... we also gained a more American quotient as the show went overseas, and... I don't know, something about the show just changed, and it wasn't as fun any more...

Anyway, this place looks to be as interesting and exciting as MHgeek was, so here's hoping. :)  And without further ado, have some Stuff.

Also - again, if you hadn't guessed - my favourite OTPs are Karl/Yvette and Derek/Yvette, and they are also my OT3.  Which is not to say that I don't have other favourites.  Most of them include Yvette.  Yvette is the OT1. ;)

There is a small collection of screencaps available here.  This was in response to a challenge I set up whereby people named their favourite MHOTPs and I would endeavour to get screencaps from my limited DVD collection.  As you can see, I didn't get very far.  The pairings in question are indicated by the image filenames.  I might get back onto screencapping at some point, but the images are also available for use as whatever people want, again with credit...

During the heyday on the other communities, I also decided to start up a forum.  As I am now back in online circles, so to speak, membership is reopen and I will make a better attempt at trying to maintain the bloody thing.



Aaaaand finally, I was / am writing an 'original novel' based on Most Haunted.  It basically takes the show and changes everyone's names to things which are slightly similar, and puts them into several fictional situations that bear little to no resemblance to actual events... *ahem*.  There is so far only one cameo (thescruffydog) with two more planned.  This was my way of shipping Most Haunted without feeling guilty about it.  Real Person Fanfic kind of makes me uncomfortable, but it reached the point where I just HAD to... hence the novel.

It's not finished.  There are notes on my PC.  I'll get it done eventually.  Please, bear with it.  I'll post updates as and when.  I like reviews. :)

Hello, everyone.

I don't know if anyone'll remember me.  I used to be very active over on the now, alas, dead mosthauntedgeek and I am the (bad) maintainer of _mhotp_ and a forum on Proboards which has seen better days...

I sort of fell out of the MH fandom around about series 6 (roughly when Derek) left, which was around about the same time as my brain took a nose-dive and I fell into something of an emotional slump, for various reasons, but ANYWAY, this community looks as fun as MHgeeks used to be.

People are still allowed to post on _mhotp_ if they want; I do encourage it. :)

At some point I'll post a bunch of various Stuff What I Made many moons ago, so beware the impending long post...

As for MH, I'm trying to catch the new series when I can, but I may have to live it vicariously here. :)  I'm a great fan of 'classic' MH, though, and (as proven by the icon) the various MHOTPs...

While I couldn't watch the MHL in Transylvania myself, I got to be enough of a loser to live vicariously through the reactions people were having over the internet on message boards. Anybody that caught it got any thoughts on the Transylvania MHL? The bulk of responses I saw sounded pretty... erm... not-so-great? Prove me wrong if your opinion is otherwise! Thoughts? News?

Oooh, maybe someone could do a review.

For people into the the show outside the UK, it sounds like they may be hacking-n-splicing the best parts of the three nights into an hour-long special for syndication... maybe it's better to get the Reader's Digest condensed version if it wasn't one of their best ones... Hm.

What a great place!! Great atmosphere.... hehehe....5 minutes ago all I could hear was dogs howling really loudly, then I realised it was next door's dogs! LOL

Oh it's another break...the dog & hubby are both snoring already....I'm off for a cuppa...all those Haribo star mix have made me thirsty!!!

Howdy folks...thought I'd stop by & say hello.
I've been on LJ for a year but never thought to check for a MH community until now *smacks head* oh well!

Just so ya know how I stand... *if you are interested*... I love MH & have been addicted from the beginning, however I am beginning *ahem* to tire a little of the stuart & Karl adventures & I prefer David Wells to Dereks 'possesions' anyday.
I've no idea if they fake it or not & I am bored of the debate (on numerous forums). I enjoy the show for what it is & I like to have hope that at least 'most of it' is real !!
I've sadly never been to a MH live & I even missed meeting the crew when they filmed at Pengersick castle in Cornwall, which was a 10 minute car ride from where I lived...Bah!!

I am all excited about the upcoming MH live & have got my snacks in already... I like to settle down in front of the TV with the dog & watch without interruption! LOL

So, that's me... *waves* Nice to meet you!!

This came from an alleged mole that supplies Jon Donnis from BadPsychics with his bathroom reading material, so take it however you want, but there are rumors surfacing that David Wells doesn't want to do MH anymore because "apparently he is getting tired of being asked to do things he doesnt want to do".

Steve Parsons left the show citing kind of similar reasons. I'm a big David Wells nerd, so in a way I'm happy he may be leaving before the show goes down in flames is canceled. ...Erm... yeah. Thoughts on this?
