AboutThis community exists to help us organize the Furry Variety Show (FVS) at Midwest FurFest.
Our show is a cooperative variety show. The acts are not judged. It's supposed to feel more like performing on the Muppet Show.
You should join this community if you plan to participate in the show.
We also have an email list for planning if you don't use livejournal.
We plan many of our acts in advance, so our performers post their ideas and plans "friends-only" to not spoil the surprise.
Feel free to friend this community if you just want to see our general announcements.
This year(2008) the show will be held Saturday evening at 7pm.
Performers must attend at least one of the two rehearsals. The first rehearsal starts at 6pm Friday. The second rehearsal starts Saturday morning at 10am.
For the show, performers should arrive ready to go by 6:15 pm Saturday. The audience comes in at 6:30 and the show starts at 7pm
If your act has pre-recorded sound, be sure to bring your sound on a CD (classic audio preferred) for the sound person at rehearsal. If you plan to sing live, contact us first so we can make arrangements.
