| French Manicures |
[Nov. 5th, 2007|03:15 pm] |

hey all- i just joined this group. i'm part of a group that's created a product that makes it really easy to give yourself a french manicure at home. it comes with different color paint cartridges as well as the traditional white. i'm trying to figure out how interested people would be in getting it and it would really help if you guys took my survey
it's really short and easy to take and you can find it here: survey!
thanks!
ps. i hope that this is an okay post to make in this community. if not i'll take it down. |

So I purchased these Miu Miu Sp05 shoes a month ago... however, I have yet to wear them. Do I match it with something else that is purple? Should I offset it with teal or camel? I don't really like wearing them with even my most tailored jeans.

Any ideas on handbags and accessories? I feel like such a fool with these darn shoes. |

| | contemplative | ] | Okay… how do I start? Well, here it goes…….
I thought I remembered noticing, on a rare occasion, a few people back
in the 70’s or 80’s with a hair style with transient and minimal
popularity. Remember Madonna (in a short lived and controversial Pepsi ad) and MTV’s Downtown Julie Brown for a short time in their careers? Not to mention Lily Munster from the 60’s TV sitcom “The Munsters” …. And recently the mutant diva, Rogue (Anna Paquin), in “X-men 2. Remember any similarities in their hair styles?
They all wore a bleached blonde streak in their hair.
I always kind of found hair style intriguing – actually bordering on
sexy (as long as their white stripe of hair was strategically placed
against the contrasting dark brown locks). In fact, I probably would
have tried it myself at different times, except for one thing – I’m a
35 year old guy. So I continued to give up the idea – worried it would
look too gay. If I was gay, then I’d probably still have it in my hair
until this day. But I’m so not gay. Maybe I’m myopic but, it seems like
more and more straight guys are doing that kind of stuff to their hair
(bleaching, highlights, frosting, etc.) So what am I chicken about????
I don’t know! So should I or shouldn’t I bleach a blonde streak in my
hair? After all, I’m not getting any younger.
Your thoughtful responses will help me decide. Thanks All! |

Does anyone know where i can find grey hair dye? i've looked all over the damn net and haven't found it. I did find proof of it existing in Japan, but i don't read japanese so i couldn't search their sites to find it online. :( The only way i know to make my hair grey is to bleach it very light then rinse Feria blue black through it...but i don't want to have to buy a whole bottle just to use a dab of it and throw the rest away. :/ If anyone can offer any advice or knows where i can find grey hair dye, your help would be very much appreciated! :)

| | placebo | ] | So I have invented a little thing that would allow you to turn any shirt into a bodysuit.
It would not be permanent, lasting only until you took the gizmo off again, and it would not damage your shirt.
It would be for layering -- shirt under overalls, shirt under sweater -- that is, for a smooth, hassle-free silhouette even in the deepest Chicago-type winter layering.
The "bodysuit" thus formed would snap open/shut at the crotch, as bodysuits do.
Would you be interested in such a gizmo? For five bucks, say? I'm not trying to sell it (yet!) but to ascertain interest. Any input is welcome and appreciated!! (x-posted everywhere)
p.s. Do you think men/dudes would use such a thing, or only women/chix? Would it need to be modified for men? |
