F4 & HISTORY

F4 began with Meteor Garden (流星花園), a Taiwanese drama series adapted from the Japanese Manga, Boys Over Flowers. In 2001, F4 became a boy band and signed a record deal with Sony Music Entertainment Taiwan. As of 2008, the boys have released a total of three albums together. Through the years, they have worked as a group as well as individually. They've filmed dramas, sponsored companies, released individual albums, etc. As of March 9th, 2007, F4 was appointed by the Taiwan Tourism Bureau to become Tourism Ambassadors of Taiwan. To sponsor their 'Wish To See You In Taiwan' campaign, they've filmed advertisements and a drama series, Wish To See You Again. On April 29, 2007, Meteor Garden producer Angie Chai announced that due to manga copyright issues, F4 would be renamed 'JVKV', which are the first initials of each of the group members English name in order of age. ~~Though no one really refers to them as that.~~ F4 can be considered one of the hottest male groups of all time. They've gained fame not only in the homeland, but in Japan, China, HK, Korea, Philippines, etc. Through the years, so many international fan bases have been and are still being established. Despite constant rumors of disbanding, F4 has proven to stay together and are still holding strong - growing separately, but never apart. ♥

RULES

001 No bashing, flaming or drama. There are other communities for stuff like that. This includes both F4 members and community members.
002 All posts must be F4 related - it can be as a group or as individual members. All members are allowed to post.
003 Please know when to use lj-cuts. (i.e: Big pictures, long content, embedded videos, spoilers, etc.)
004 All media MUST be friends locked.
005 Please credit the things you post - if you can.
006 All posts should be in English. If you must post in another language, at least have an English translation.
007 Correctly tag all entries.
008 Check all tags before requesting anything. Majority of the time, it's already there.
009 Spamming is a no-no.
010 When it is a member's birthday, a special entry will be made by a moderator, so please do not go off and make 50 individual birthday entries.
011 Anonymous commenting is disabled, so if you want to post, make an account!
012 Selling posts are allowed, but don't over do it. We know you know the limit.
013 Please comment when you take something. This includes media and graphics. People work hard to upload/make them, and we want to show appreciation, yeah?

Failure to abide by these rules will result in warnings and eventually banning. So please, try to keep things easy for us.

TAG SYSTEM

Since both of your mods have OCD (not really), we'd like to keep the community as neat and organized as possible. This makes it easier for everyone to find things as well as good to look at. Since the community is relatively new, not all tags have been used yet, but we have already made some tags to fit accordingly to the posts. All entries must be tagged.

Members are allowed to make their own and new tags, but they must follow the same method and style as the rest/previous tags.

For an example, if you want to make a post about Meteor Garden, the tags would be the following:
→ general: discussion
→ dramas: meteor garden

If it was a post with the download link of episode one of Meteor Garden, it'd be:

→ videos: dramas
