AboutThe word metagame has been unfairly maligned for too long. The prefix meta- actually means beyond, so a correct interpretation should read 'beyond gaming.'
The purpose of this community is to get beyond the inertia of details that bogs down typical gaming communities and examine the craft of running and participating in roleplaying games as a whole. Topics could include but would not be limited to scaling, scenario structuring, player/character management, style, technique, pacing, group relations, incorporating genre elements successfully, and so on.
