So, instead of something that could give him a culinary challenge, the two youngest crewmates decided on something drastically simple: Ham and cheese sandwiches. Sanji spared a thought to guess that the tangled mass of fabric might be a swan, but his full attention was focused on the sniper. Without his customary checkered bandana, Usopp’s curls fell free around his face. Sanji was a little distraught. It wasn’t that he didn’t like Sanji’s regular cooking, no one in their right mind wouldn’t like the cook’s scrumptious meals, it was just that he had been gone from home for so long that he had almost forgotten entirely the smells, the colors, the feelings, the tastes of his island and just something as simple as a ham and cheese sandwich would be enough to calm the growing tide of homesickness that was slowly threatening to overwhelm him. Even his pictures as of late of his island were loosing their luster; the blues and greens melding together until he couldn’t remember what that paint had represented or why that line was there. Describing it in detail, Usopp painted a picture of a glorious masterpiece of ham and cheese and bread that Luffy could hardly wait to have one. When Sanji heard their decision, Usopp could see his face fall. What, he expected something complicated? Usopp was very impressed with their cook’s skills, yes, and under normal circumstances he would have been happy to oblige with a challenge, but right now all he wanted was something to remind him that somewhere in this big world there were people who loved him and would remember him if something should happen to him.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class=&quot;MsoNormal&quot;&gt;&lt;span style=&quot;&quot;&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;Thankfully, Sanji had been nice enough to agree to their demands (though Usopp knew it was only because he felt guilty for yelling at them) and commenced with the making of the sandwiches. His island, his Kaya…they might meet again but never under the same circumstances. He was a different man now. How could he even think to be sad? Grasping onto it, Luffy made a show of unwrapping it and presenting it to Usopp, “Now just watch what I can do with this bandana!” Luffy then proceeded to wrap it this way and that, fold it clockwise and mesh it counterclockwise. He was just as happy lying around as he was training and anything that would get in the way of his preferred schedule was a Bad Thing. He was stuck in the galley, so there wasn’t much he could do besides weight training and that was quickly becoming boring. Surely just a little fight to keep off the mundane wouldn’t be that bad. Zoro, in an attempt to stop the desperate screaming as well, reached around Luffy and under Sanji for the other knob. Sanji’s guilt only increased as he realized that he had made the stupid mistake of leaving the burner on in the first place. He was a better cook than that!   <description>As long as I&apos;m going back and forth with CZ over crewmate massages and with Spider over Bon Clay&apos;s fanfic and Usopp&apos;s dramatic interpretation thereof, it occurs to me that this is a great spot for discussion in which we can all partake. Yay!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So anyway, I have a question in relation to a mostly-done ficthing. What do you envision the Strawhats&apos; handwriting to be like? I see Sanji&apos;s as kind of loopy but not too fruity, and Usopp scrawls, and Robin&apos;s nice and neat and bland, but what about Nami? Does Chopper do a doctor&apos;s scribble or did Doctorine make him learn to be legible? Is Zoro&apos;s calligraphic like his sensei taught him or is it more blocky and bare-bones functional?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Luffy can write a &lt;em&gt;little.&lt;/em&gt; He wrote Nami&apos;s name on that one fishgirl sketch. But if he knows more than his alphabet I will be v. surprised.</description>

Set anywhere there is OT5.&lt;br /&gt;Special Note: First draft scribbled on scrap paper in ancient Minoan ruins. Thus is the inspiration of the ages. It needs a title.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a name=&quot;cutid1&quot;&gt;&lt;/a&gt;---------------&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;Mmmmmmm.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It was late night on the Going Merry, and life was &lt;i&gt;good&lt;/i&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It was Nami&apos;s room this time. Shower day for Luffy, Nami had pronounced him clean enough to share her bed, and the rest had made a quick pact to throw him in the water a lot more often than twice a month. For the sake of the now-&lt;em&gt;very&lt;/em&gt;-well-worn guys&apos; couch, Usopp declared, and nobody argued the point.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Once Luffy was persuaded to stop bouncing, things had gotten very interesting very quickly. There was mutual divestation of shirts. This immediately made Nami more interesting than anybody else. She didn&apos;t mind.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But life at sea is rough work, and late-night shenanigans really aren&apos;t on for a bunch of pirates who plan on catching the dawn breeze. They fell into a comfortable haze, skin to skin and breath to breath. The waves rocked the boat, five heartbeats slowed together, and Nami was just debating whether it was worth the effort to shift her head two inches and kiss Zoro when her captain let out a quiet giggle.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;She blinked up at the dim ceiling, and smiled. He was probably already asleep. Maybe he was having a good dream. ...Maybe she was, too.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&quot;Hee!!&quot; No, that did sound like a waking laugh, and he was shifting against Zoro&apos;s other side. Aw. Nami supposed no perfect peace could last forever, but she&apos;d been counting on a couple more minutes. The lethargic haze lifted a little as Luffy sat up, snickering uncontrollably. Nami turned to look at him, and it fled like mist in the noonday sun.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&quot;Luffy.&quot; Her tone immediately stirred the others. Usopp tensed in reflexive self-defense. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&quot;Stop wearing my bra as a hat. &lt;strong&gt;Now.&lt;/strong&gt;&quot;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&quot;But Nami, Nami look!&quot; Luffy protested. He bounced up on his knees, pulled the strings tied under his nose out to either side, and pasted on a mock scowl. &quot;I&apos;m &lt;em&gt;Owner Zeff!&lt;/em&gt;&quot;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sanji gave an immediate and violent heave, upsetting the collective balance and rolling Luffy straight off. Nami would have been tossed about a bit herself, if Usopp hadn&apos;t stuck his face in her shoulder in a valiant but futile effort to muffle uproarious guffaws. Thus encouraged Luffy immediately jumped up and folded his arms, scowling all the harder down at his crew over the dangling white strings. One cup slid down and hit his nose. Usopp gave up and rolled over, laughing fit to bust. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;With a sigh that held the weight of the world, hefted it in one hand, and considered how hard one would have to throw it to be lethal, Nami detangled herself and sat up. Okay, partway up. She would&apos;ve gotten there, but there were three pairs of familiarly callused hands holding her back.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&quot;Stay.&quot; Zoro rumbled, and why was it she could never tell when he was or wasn&apos;t issuing commands?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&quot;I&apos;ll do laundry tomorrow.&quot; Usopp promised, and she did have some skirts that needed washing besides.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&quot;And I&apos;ll deal with him now.&quot; Sanji finished, unearthing himself and leaping over the three to put word to deed.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;Well...&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There was a dull &lt;em&gt;whudd&lt;/em&gt; as one bare foot hit one rubber face.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;em&gt;...if they insist.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Nami flounced back into bed, immediately rewarded by a snuggle from Usopp- he had such &lt;em&gt;nice&lt;/em&gt; springy hair- and a rough squeeze from Zoro, who never snuggled. Or cuddled. Really. And this amused thought was lost as he drew her face to the side for a long, deliberate kiss.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&quot;Incoming.&quot; Usopp murmured into her collarbone. Zoro held one solid arm out and caught the two returning &apos;mates, never breaking stride. They settled down, and Nami arched into the kiss as Luffy cheerily rediscovered why a shirtless Nami was so &lt;em&gt;very&lt;/em&gt; interesting.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sanji started teaching him tricks. Usopp rubbed her tummy.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Oh, yes. Aboard the Going Merry, life was &lt;em&gt;good.&lt;/em&gt;</description>

  <description>Spider&apos;s one-liners about Robin and earplugs and grabby teenagers got me thinking. WOO for devirginizing. It meant there was opportunity for deeper study.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When the navigator didn&apos;t sleep in the womens&apos; cabin, for example, the simplest explanation was that she was dallying with a fellow crewmember. Boring, but also perfectly reasonable (unless it was the doctor. In which case further examination was to be avoided for entirely different reasons.) When one wet morning her gaze happened across the swordsman drawing the girl to him on the aft deck, even this small unknown dissolved into the grey mist.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Or so Robin thought, but a few days later she came into breakfast early and caught the navigator sneaking kisses with the cook. Well. A shade more interesting, perhaps, though again it was expedient to assume the simplest solution; this could only result in yet another noisy little fight when the swordsman found out. As indeed he must. On a ship so small with privacy so scarce it was inevitable. Still, the swordsman and the cook fought so often she doubted it would even break the monotony. The navigator seemed unconcerned.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A week afterward Robin climbed up to spell the other woman at night watch and found her deeply entangled with the captain &lt;em&gt;and&lt;/em&gt; the marksman. Forced to revise the current theory rather radically, she politely declined the captain&apos;s cheery invitation and retired instead to the galley for a cup of strong coffee.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It was there that she found the swordsman kissing the cook.</description>

We are all staunch believers and shippers of Luffy x Nami x Zoro x Usopp x Sanji. It&apos;s not that we don&apos;t love Robin and Chopper, just that Chopper was just told that if he went and stood on the other side of the ship for three hours he would get presents and that Robin really does not want to dip into that pool of grabby, arguing teenagers. Feel free to include and love them in your stories, just not as part of the OT5. Unless you really want to convince us or something.
