Welcome to Pearl Voice, the first LiveJournal community to unite fans of the animanga series produced by Hanamori Pinku, Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch and its sequel, Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch PURE. You as a fan can talk about anything MMPPP (PURE) related, post fan stuff, etc. here, the sky's the limit! If you are new to this series, there is general information in the userinfo. All important entries will be archived in the memories.

I had to buy the whole lot $_$ to get the two Lucia keychain plushies and I am selling Hanon - blue mermaid, Lina -green mermaid, and Hippo -mascot penguin because I am in dire need of money. I'd love to keep Hippo though... T_T
Anyone interested in any of the three below? I am accepting offers, but also would really like to do a trade for the plushies I am missing -

For any of you that know me, you must know of my strange adoration for something that a lot of people hate on principle: OCs. Hence this random inquiry (plus I want to do something with my day off).
What's your policy? Specifically, I think I remember this Mary Sue Litmus Test that was on the community years ago, where the questions were rigged so that new Mermaid Princesses, no matter what, were automatically Sues, and new villains barely scraped by. I know the canon doesn't particularly allow for adding new MPs to the main cast, but am I the only one that wants to read the adventures of the MPs' mothers during the Cold War? I dunno, just throwing questions out there.

Has it ever been known as to which city the series takes place in? I know that the main cast live by the harbor, and the GBA games give a clear map as to where they live, but has Hanamori Pinku specified a specific city? What's the name of the harbor the cast live near by? What city did she base it off? Did she create the whole setting herself?

hey, as most of you on here know, I am the owner of Lovely Pitch image archive. I just thought it would be nice of me to announce that on the 8th my domain is going to expire, thus my site will be down. This may be a permanent action since I have no intention of renewing my domain or getting a new one. I am looking into other options, but not that actively, to host my site.
So, if you want any images off my site, now is the time to collect them.

A Mermaid Melody Covergroup!
A Sugar Bells First Time Covergroup
We will be dubbing several songs from the popular Mermaid Melody - Pichi Pichi Pitch series. Should interest be high, we will also sing English versions of each songs with original lyrics written by Sachibelle herself. We will do group songs as well as solos.
First thing's first. I would like these voices to be original! I do appreciate the original dub, however, I believe that there are some things that can certainly be improved on. Therefore, I would like all auditions to be what YOU believe the voice should sound like, not what the original thought. If you think the voice should be the same as the original, please send in auditions. However, if you think you have a better suited voice, then by all means, please, PLEASE send in auditions.
The number of songs will depend on interest. However, currently planned are
Taiyou no Rakuen/ Daijina Takarabako/ Legend of Mermaid/ Super Love Songs! / Kizuna / Yume no Sono Saki He / Kodou / Nanatsu no Umi / Kibou no Kaneoto / Rainbow Notes If the group is interested by the end of our songs, we will also do the solos, such as Ever Blue and Star Jewel.
Hanon will be selfcast. [All images were taken from "Live Start." Please do give it a visit!]
If this is not allowed in this community, I will delete it right away. I hope you all are interested!

Hi everyone! I'm here to shamelessly promote my new community, goodanimeicons. This is a "good" icon community (I don't like the word elite!) just for anime and manga icons. Right now we are in need to affiliates, co-mods, and of course members!
To post in this community, it's necessary that you apply, so if you think that you have what it takes, come give it a shot. =) Even if you don't get approved for posting access, you can still receive helpful constructive criticism to enhance your icon making skills.

Hi everyone ^_^ I'm new here ^_^ I've got intrested in Mermaid melody sometime last year. But didn't managed to get into the fandom because my computer suddenly had a problem and I had to reformat it. This means that all of my mermaid melody stuff went missing! After that, I tried to get back my precious Mermaid melody videos but mermaidmelody.de did not have them anymore. Even the karaoke versions are gone T.T. Then, I stopped watching Memaid melody altogether. But now, I suddenly went back! Don't know why, but I've started on it again! I've even continued to buy the manga! I hope that I would not leave it again like that time ^_^
My favourite character is Lucia! I just love LuciaXKaito but I don't hate Mikaru(Michal?). But I know her as Mikaru from the start so...
By the way, I'm looking for the mermaid melody songs, the karaoke versions! Where could I download them from? I just love singing those songs in the past...I'm trying to look for them now, can anyone help me?

Maybe I shouldn't post two times in a row about the weird stuff I come across when surfing the net, but have anyone of you looked (closely) at the Taiwanese MMPPP trading cards? They are CRAZY. I thought the Taiwanese only made a few simple mistakes such as coloring a manga picture of Caren a little wrong and adding a non-power-up Hanon to a pic with power-up Lucia and Rina.
( But look at THIS... )
I thought MMPPP was in pretty good hands in Taiwan, but they sure screwed up these cards, huh? XD

well i've just seen the first season of the series and downloading the second (slowly but some day i'll have it xD) but i've been looking for the manga, and god! it's pointless! i can't find it!! T_T and i wanna know if some of you know if it's any place left where i can still download it T.T, i've already request it at free_manga but no one answer it u.u. please!! help! T_T

Hey guys!
Other than MMPPP merchandise,I collect Japanese Anime Dolls! I have quite a few ranging from Wedding Peach to Vampire Princess Miyu and into some more hentai-type dolls, but as I've said before my fave is the only released MMPPP Lucia doll! However, I always wanted a mermaid Hanon doll!
Well I only collect the original Jap. merchandise, but when I saw the MMPPP Italian mermaid Hanon doll, I had to have it! The idol dolls look quite ugly though(maybe b/c I'm comparing it to the original Jap. Lucia doll which is FAR better!) but I bought mermaid Hanon and Rina($44 each) and they're great!
Although I hate the DUB(every dub for that matter), esp. the Italian vers., it's just not my Pichi mermaids I've come to love for 4 yrs!! Thus I changed the commercial(With the annoying Italian song and voices!) and made this!:

-Anyway, even if you don't collect international merchandise (Only original Jap. Merchandise), these are beautifully done, and finally...I HAVE A MERMAID HANON DOLL!!!!
