I've been working on these two for a while. The first one nearly killed me! There are so many elements that I had to add! I decided to include a scraps file, which shows all the elements in their original state for people interested in such things. The dragon was a late addition, so is not included in the scraps

Hello, [info]merlinxarthur!

Many of you probably read [info]ashleaves's fic, The Internet is for Porn, well, we've banded together (while she was writing it, actually) and have created an RPG in the same setting. Currently, Merlin and Arthur are taken (by myself and her, respectively), with an eventual pairing of Arthur/Merlin--we're working up to that over the course of the game, as it's just more fun that way, don't you think? We're now open and accepting applications/reserves at [info]anachronismos and would love to have some of you come and play with us! If you haven't seen the fic, I would highly recommend it as it's hilarious. The basis of the game is the world we were given a glimpse of in this year's Children in Need. Hope this strikes a few people's fancy, at least.

This takes place in “The Wolf and The Phoenix” {Ch. 1 & Ch. 2} universe – currently a WIP. It would help, of course, to read the chapters posted for “The Wolf and The Phoenix”, but really; what’s happening in the fic currently doesn’t have much bearing on this 2x08 tag fic.

This is a fast forward where Arthur and Merlin from the daemon world stick around for a bit (in the daemon-less world) and with their involvement; the end of 2x08 is rather different…

I should note that there are mentions of coming plot developments in “The Wolf and The Phoenix”, but this one-shot can standalone.

Summary: An evil Queen has taken over the Kingdom of Avalon and imprisoned Prince Merlin. Prince Arthur of Camelot happens across the manor where he is trapped and vows to free him and defeat the evil Queen before she destroys them all.

The next day, Arthur filled his pockets with food for Merlin and headed back to the manor.
