Green Donna
My small Green Donna arrived today. The easiest way I can describe it is to say that it's EXACTLY like my small Lunette. It is the same shape, size, texture/squishiness, EXACTLY! The holes are the same, the stem is the same, even the storage pouch is the same shiny material with the same ribbon for closure (the color is different). The Green Donna has "Green Donna" written on the outside of the cup where the Lunette has "made in Finland" written. If I didn't know better, I'd say that they were made in the same factory... but I know that the Donna was made in China, and the Lunette in Finland. I think that this would be a good option for USA residents who want a Lunette, but don't want to wait for FDA approval, because it's the SAME CUP! I was surprised at it's clear color; on the website it looks opaque white. I haven't tried using The Donna yet, but I don't really even have to... It's gonna work exactly like my Lunette. Note in the comparision pics, that I've trimmed my Lunette's stem, so it appears shorter, but it wasn't when I first got it. One of the pics also shows my small Lady Cup and Small Mia Cup.

Green Donna update

I emailed Green Donna to see if they would be interesting in supplying my website. I had a very quick reply and thought I would share it with you....

"Dear Teresa,

Thank you for your request!

Sadly, we are still not exporting to Europe.

Green Donna started very recently in Brazil. Due to bureaucratic procedures and our limited production capacity, expansion to Europe is expected to occur in about one year.

We will keep your message on file, and we will notify you as soon as we can guarantee you a good quality of service.

Sorry for keeping you waiting.

Best regards from Donna"

Green Donna sales
Hello, I missed out on the green donna listed on ebay for 10gbp and asked the seller if they would relist it, I got this as a reply:

Dear cynthia.md

,

Dear Cynthia,

My apologies, but I think we will not be able to list Green Donna Ergonomic menstrual cups on eBay.

But it is already for sale at Green Donna's website:
http://en.greendonna.com

I'm sorry that I can't list it on eBay and sell to you directly for bureaucratic reasons.

The cup is quite good, probably one of the best developed so far. I'm sure you will like it.

Good luck!

New Cup - "Green Donna"
I've found a graphic designer's mock-up of the packaging for a new menstrual cup - "Green Donna" The graphic designer in based in Portugal, and whois results of www.greendonna.com turn up an owner in Portugal. I can tell from the multilingual packaging that it is probably intended for a European market.

First impressions:
- Made in China. Interesting, as there are no other cups produced in Asia except for the Femmecup (made in the Far East, using silicon produced in the UK).
- Almost looks like a white, opaque cup (this could just be the packaging though)
- Measuring lines
- "Green Donna" on the outside
- A tube stem with three grips
- A hint of multiple sizes with the packaging label "size 1"

So, not much to go on, but interesting in the least. Once the website is up and running I'm sure there will be more to discuss.
