Another comparison post: my new small Fleur vs. old small Diva
I have used the Diva (size small) off and on for a couple years now, and recently went back to using it more regularly. However, after day 2 of my period, the Diva won't fit inside me anymore- the entire stem and most of the grip rings on the base stick out beyond my vag. So, I started looking for a cup that would fit better, but still accommodate my very heavy flow. Based on the size chart on this site, I thought either the large or small Fleurcup or Lunette would be a good choice, so I ordered a small Fleurcup and a large Lunette.

Background: I am a 28 yr old not-a-virgin but very limited sexual experience, and it has been 4-5 years since I've had PIV sex. I got the impression that I may be small, (reason: TMI) ) I have heavy flow, usually requiring changing super plus (or ultra, if I can find them) tampons every 4 hr or so.

So I ordered a small Fleurcup from Leastore and large Lunette (hasn't arrived yet) from lunette.com. I'll post more comparison and photos when the Lunette arrives (Hooray for FDA approval!) First of all, I want to say how great Leastore is- I ordered on Saturday night around midnight, Sunday I got an email confirming my order, and it arrived in my mailbox yesterday (Thursday). That's Finland to the southeastern USA in 4 days!

Immediately I noticed that the fleurcup was a lot stiffer than the Diva, and that changes the fold I used to insert it, as you'll see in the photos below. I am doing a dry run right now, and it feels ok internally, but the stem is sticking out a bit, which is bothersome- I will probably trim it, but I'll wait for my actual period to make that decision. The fleurcup popped open with no prob, much faster than the Diva does. Ok now for the photos:

Lots of photos for comparison, including end-on folded pics )

OK hope this helps someone else out there making decisions about which cup to buy- I'll post more when the Large Lunette arrives.

Buying my first cup...
Hi! I've been using Insteads for a few cycles now, and they have been almost-but-not-quite working for me. They have worked well enough for me to decide that I want a big girl cup now, so I started looking around.

Details below. )

? leastore?
Hi,
Any USA cuppers order non-US shipping cups from leastore.com? i.e. lunette, fleur, etc......

If so, how was your experience?
How long did it take for shipping?
Did U pay w/paypal?

ETA: I got my fleurcup yesterday, Monday 12-14. I'm sooo excited!!
Leastore.com was GREAT! They sent me candies too:-) Not that I need 'em:-)

Thanks

Please help me decide
Hi everyone,
I hope you can help me decide what I need. I'm buying a cup for myself, but I have no experience and don't know anyone who uses a cup that I can ask for help. My biggest concern is that my cervix is really low, as in 1-2 inches. I really want this to work because I hate pads. I think I have a fairly light flow. Typically the first 3 days, I can completely fill a maxi pad in about 24 hours, although my cycles have been somewhat lighter lately. I need something that will hold my flow for at least 9 hours because I work as a CNA in a nursing home and there is very little time for fiddling around with a cup during break. I had decided on the Mooncup UK, but then I discovered that there were quite a few more brands than the ones I had heard about. Now I don't know what to do.

Thanks for the help

Help-suggestions for a new cup
Hi, I've been around a while so you've probably seen my leak problem posts.
I've decided to try yet another cup to see if I can find the 'perfect' one for me:-) I'd like your help this time as last time I didn't ask for help & I'm still in the same 'boat'(still leaking w/lg. ladycup).

My 1st cup was lg. diva. It leaked badly. When I turned it inside-out it got better but still leaked.
I figured out my cervix sits low & I always felt the diva was long so that's why I tried the lg. ladycup.

It leaks also! I'm thinking w/the holes so low on the cup + my cervix sitting in it, the capacity just does not cut it.

What do you think?

I'm considering a fleurcup b/c of it's larger capacity & higher hole placement, but I live in the US.

Thought about a Yuuki but it's long.
Considering a lg. Lunette....tho capacity isn't much more than lc.

? Would a shorter w/larger capacity cup work better than my lg. ladycup if the holes are placed high? Reason I ask is, it seems w/my cervix in the lc & the holes being low it leaks. If the cup could hold more, & the holes are higher up than the lc holes, but shorter.....ummmm, what do u think?

And what about a narrower cup? I've read somewhere if it's too wide the walls of the vagina may put pressure on the holes causing it to leak. So would a narrower cup like the MPower lg. work better even if the capacity is the same as the ladycup?

I never thought I'd think this much over my MOON:-)
Sorry this is so long..........

Thanks for your help in advance,

Cup wearers in hospital?

A few weeks ago someone posted this http://community.livejournal.com/menstrual_cups/1951817.html - it was about wearing a menstrual cup if you were in hospital and how would the staff know that you were wearing one.
I have been thinking about this and wondered if something like this would be appropriate http://www.totalmerchandise.co.uk/products/details/Two-and-Four-Tone-Silicon-Wristbands
I am thinking of ordering some as promotional items for my website, if you think they would be of use. I would have my website on there and maybe something like "menstrual cup wearer" on it.
What do you think? Would you wear one while you were wearing a cup, just in case? Would you wear it all the time?
Do you like the text or can you think of something better.
I'm thinking of ordering 1000 and selling them for £1.00 or free with any menstrual cup. They would be 2 colours, the colours in my new logo.

I'm just asking for feedback rather than waste my money.
Thanks

Please Suggest a New Menstrual Cup!
As the holiday season approaches I'm thinking about asking for a certficate to get a new menstrual cup. I'm currently using a small diva cup, and I don't mind it at all.

My big problem is that it is just too long. In the span of one day I barely fill the cup up the first line which is i believe is 7.5 ml. I cut the stem off but when i sit down i can feel the stub of the stem sticking out. It's kind of hard to get it to pop open but that is really not a huge issue.

I really like the flexibility of the diva cup, the suction is fine, and I can use it without having it leak. It's just too long.

I I was thinking about getting a MeLuna because it is smaller but it doesn't look like it would as flexible as I would like it to be.

Any suggestions? Let me know if you need more information to make a suggestion!
I would really love suggestions from people who have used the diva cup and other cups, but all suggestions would be appreciated!

Where to purchase overseas cups?
Hello,

I am 28, no kids, and have never used a menstrual cup. However, on recommendation from a friend I've been reading for the past couple days on this fabulous site about the various cups, sizes, etc. It appears I have a short vaginal canal and thus would like to start by trying one of the shorter cups. Balancing this with wanting as much fill capacity as possible, I've narrowed it down to a Lunette, Yuuki or Fleurcup. None of these, however, are available to ship to the US on the main sites I have found.

Questions:
1. Has anyone found a reputable site from which to purchase one of these cups?
2. Has anyone with an easily palpable cervix (i.e. short canal) tried a Diva (the most readily available in the US)? I am aware that they are one of the longest, so this concerns me that it might not be comfortable.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Problem with ordering my MeLuna?
I decided that I DID want a Meluna, and I have two friends that want one as well. I ordered them, and I paid on Paypal, but Frank did not receive the money.
Of course, I decided to clear my inbox right before I get an email from Frank asking to meto send the confirmation email that I received from Paypal.
So, this money just dissappeared. It's not in my account, but it isn't in his.
I really want a cup. Help me with this? Please?
I can't afford to re-pay for them.

If this doesn't work, does anyone have a cup that they no longer use, and would be willing to send to me? I'm desperate.

{edit}
I think I figured out the paypal. (Thank you!)
But, in the end, an old, free cup that you don't like or didn't work for you is still something I'm considering because my cycle will be starting soon, and I can't afford tampons or pads after paying for the cup. And the shipping will take too long. If you sent it, I would be forever grateful. It's my 16th birthday on December 15. You could think of it as a birthday gift of sorts.I'm just a slew of problems, I guess.
I'm sorry to cause all of you so much trouble.
Please accept my apologies. I don't mean to be a pain.

Need help in narrowing down cup size/brand
Hello again.  Many thanks to all that helped me in my first post about finding my cervix, etc.  I really appreciated it :).  Now, I'm trying to find out which size and which brand of menstrual cup will fit and work best for me.  Here's the info I've recently compiled about my body.  The week before my period started, I carefully located where the cervix sits.  When I'm not on my period, it's more or less in the center, about 2 inches in.  Four days ago, my period began for this month, and I again felt around for the cervix.  It was lower, now about 1 inch in, and had moved a bit further back towards the tailbone.

With this information, I no longer think a Diva is the right brand, but I could still use some help.

And one last question on a minor note, is it normal for your period to go super heavy after feeling for the cervix?  'Cause that's what happened this time around.  I felt for the cervix on Monday, ('cause my period started up slow on Sunday and usually hits full force the following day) and it was like super heavy.  I had to change pads almost every hour for the next 2 days, and leaks were CRAZY.  Did I mess something up down there?

Again, tips appreciated.  Thanks in advance!

So many CHOICES
Hi ladies. I'm not so new to cups, but so far, the one I have (the Diva) has yet to work well for me. Tried twice and had to have it removed by medical professionals both times, after digging, poking and prodding for HOURS. The first time I was told it was suctioned to my cervix. Suffice it to say, when I went home that day my cervix hurt! :-( I have no idea whether I have a high or low cervix, so that may be the problem I'm running into especially since I've read that it's positioning changes throughout the cycle.

I feel like I wasted the $ I paid for my diva, as I'm too scared to try it out for a third time and possibly have to go to the emergency room to have it removed. Anyway...I know everyone's body is different and therefore what works for one will not work for another but..UGH, I just want to not have to buy anymore stupid tampons and pads!! Is it common to go through several cups that just "don't work" (or in my case, you can't get OUT) before finding the one that works for you? How did you all decide which (other) ones you were going to try out? I have SO many more questions but I think i'll leave it at this for the moment.

Is the mooncup right for me?
Hi everyone!

After learning about the mcups I decided that I had to get one.  I don't have a thing against tampons except that I have to change so much.

At first I thought that the only mcup that existed was the diva cup..  but as I am learning there are so many brands!

I'm researching and trying to figure out what cup I'm supposed to get and so far I've come to the conclusion that a mooncup might be best for me... but I'm not sure, so I was hoping someone could help me out.

- first off, I live in California, if that eliminates any of my options... (but I would think that I could have any mcup mailed to me... no?)

-I am 17, virgin, 110 pounds, 5'8 (a bit underweight, i'm working on it)
-I usually have my period for about a week or so...
-My flow tends to fluctuate, but I can get a super (tampon) up there if I have a heavy flow, but usually it's a medium flow
- I don't want to have to change every so often, 12 hrs sounds REALLY good.
-I can get two fingers up there and reach my cervix (I thought I lost a tampon, so someone told me to stick my fingers up there and get it :(, that's another reason why I want to switch to an mcup! I think I've had at least 10 incidents where I thought I lost my tampon or couldn't remember whether or not I had put one up there)
-I don't think I'll have trouble getting the cup up there or taking it out, I can adapt pretty well, I just don't want to be in pain and I also don't want my vagina to explode or anything

Hmmmm.... so is the mooncup right for me?  If not, do you have better suggestions?

Meluna ordering
Hi everyone,

I have been lurking around this site for a few months now and finally decided to post.  My main concern for this post, is that I've been trying to order from Meluna all day and it takes my address, and allows me to pick the shipping option (there is only one, so I choose it) and then it goes to the payment screen which comes up blank, except for the continue button. If I click continue it tells me I haven't input any info so it won't let me move forward. I emailed the company but haven't heard anything back.  I would order from femininewear but I'm being picky and selfishly want the green cup :)

I think once I order meluna I'll be on the right track. Like most newbies I had no idea before I came here that there were other cups and of course got the Diva. I've been working with it for a few cycles and experience a lot of discomfort when I wear it.  Sometimes not right away. I am a very small person, under 100 pounds, and not a virgin but not sexually active.  I think the diva is way too long, and think i might do better with the small meluna. That's the one my gut has always gravitated towards anyways, but I feel if that doesn't work, the small ladycup might be a good choice. Its a toss up between the small ladycup and small meluna. I'll probably try them both, if I can ever get an order in to meluna...

anyone have any suggestions?<input ... ></input><input ... >

Vaginismus, Mirena and Cup?
So, background on me: I'm 21, have vaginismus (but do physical therapy for it and am improving) and endometriosis. Up until Friday, I have been on the pill for 6 years. I've probably had like 5 very light periods in the past 3 years because I took HBC continuously to avoid menstruation. Friday I got a mirena IUD.

So, I'd like to use a cup. My GYN said it was totally fine to do so.

I've tried a small Diva before and it didn't work for me. I tried it probably twice each period for 5 or 6 periods, then it fell out of my bag and I lost it.
I had kind of a hard time inserting it, but I would get it in after a few seconds, seem to be sealed fine and in the right place, but after like an hour it would be uncomfortable and feel like it had come unsealed or something and slide down lower. I was never able to keep it in for more than a few hours.
I think what might have been happening is that due to the vaginismus, my muscles were involuntarily spasming and breaking the seal.

So, I'm hoping you all can help me choose a cup. I assume I'll have a light- medium flow, although I'm not sure. I have very tense vaginal muscles/ small vagina. Also, I have a pretty low cervix and short vaginal canal.

The issues with the unsealing... do you think my reasoning makes sense? And if so, do I need something with stronger suction? maybe a stiffer cup? Wider cup? Shorter cup?

Do you have any suggestions for what cup I should get? I know preferences are really individual, but it isn't really something I can try out and return if it doesn't work for me. I'm a poor college student, so this is really going to be an investment for me.

Thanks!

so excited
Well this isn't anything really to bother the community about but i am having serious trouble deciding what color ladycup I want. HAHA. I really like yellow, but i was wondering if it will be neon or look like the mooncup yellow, and is it just a hint?  Because here-

the colors look like they are just a hint, BARELY and the orange looks like it has a lot of pink mixed with it. So I think im leaning more towards the orange also bc it doesn't look like just a hint.  I was thinking about the pinkcup too bc it is....pink! But in that pic i can barely tell it has any pink in it.  The lilaccup looks really pretty too, but honestly i never liked purple, so anyway to the people that have ladycups how much color is really in them?  And in your opinion which color is prettiest?

And also the reason i am getting a ladycup is bc it is so soft and one of the smallest brands. But i am a virgin and I heard that a lot of people have trouble getting the ladycup out because no grippers and bc it is so squishy.  And i heard virgins have even harder times getting it out.  From your own experiences how was the first time you used your cup?

I was gonna make a poll but decided not to bc i wanna hear your own words.

EDIT**
well now i am thinking about getting a meluna, bc
1.)people say they are easier to get out
2.)they come in xsmall
3.)they have a really pretty green ^_^
but how much really, are they when it comes to shipping and stuff?

EDIT AGAIN**
well thanks everyone i ordered a meluna off of feminine wear about a week ago. i hope it arrives soon!

Decisions, decisions!
Hello! I'm looking into getting a menstrual cup, but I'm a little overwhelmed.

I first started thinking about getting a menstrual cup a year ago, but tampons were (and still are) working fine for me, so I didn't do anything about it. But now, the idea of being able to leave a cup in for 12 hours is really, REALLY appealing to me. I'm a full-time student at a local community college, and my schedule varies day-to-day. Plus, despite being on a birth control pill for 3+ years, I ALWAYS get cramps the first 1-3 days of my now 5-day cycle. They aren't mild, but aren't severe either, and as long as I take an Aleve at the first sign, they go away pretty quickly and won't return for the next 8 hours. While they don't interfere with my ability to do homework, drive, or attend class, they're still annoying, and I've read that the absorbing action of tampons may make cramps a little worse.

When I recently started thinking again, this time more seriously, about trying a cup, I thought a DivaCup (model 1) would be best, since they seem to be the easiest to purchase in the U.S. But then, I was looking at cup comparison pictures, and I came across this image (all of these are small cups). The Diva looks huge in comparison to the MeLuna. So while I haven't completely ruled out the Diva, I'd also like to consider the MeLuna, Lady Cup, and Yuuki.

Here are some facts about me/my cycle:
- I'm a 19-year-old virgin. I have never had a problem with tampons, and when my periods were heavier, I used Super Plus with no difficulty. I have had a pelvic exam before, and while it was a little uncomfortable, I wouldn't call it painful. I pretty much have no hymen to speak of (and haven't since I was 6. Monkey bar accident, lol). I can comfortably fit one finger inside my vagina and move it around. I can fit up to 3 fingers, but I feel a little irritated if I move them around too much. So basically, despite being a virgin, my vagina is fairly flexible, so it's not a requirement that I get the absolute smallest cup known to mankind, but I definitely don't need a cup made for women who have given birth.

- My flow is not exactly light, but it's definitely not heavy. My period lasts 5 days. The first 3 days, I stick to Super absorbency tampons that I change at 8-hour intervals. The last 2 days, I use Regular absorbency tampons, also changed at 8-hour intervals. With this schedule/absorbency combination, I do not have leaks.

Here is what I really want from a menstrual cup:
- 12 hour protection
- Comfort. I don't feel tampons when they're inside of me, and I don't want a cup that's any different. I don't mind if I can feel the cup briefly a couple of times in a 12 hour period, like if I've been sitting for awhile and then stand up, but I don't want to feel like it's poking or pinching.
- Reliable fit. I want to know that I can leave a cup in for 12 hours and not feel like it's progressively moving lower and lower. I need it to stay in place for the most part.
- No leaking

Ideally, I'd like a cup to be easy to insert, but I'd gladly spend a few extra seconds folding/inserting a stiffer cup if I knew the fit was more secure.

So...based on the information I've given, does anybody have any...direction they can point me in? Or any suggestions if they have or had something in common with me? I know that this will be trial-and-error to some degree, but for the sake of my wallet, and my impatience, I'd like to limit the amount of errors as much as possible. ;)

Thanks for all your help!

ETA: Thanks SO MUCH, everyone! I don't know how I missed the cup size comparison post, but thank you for pointing it out to me. Armed with this new knowledge, I feel better about making a decision. Of course, I may not get it right on the first try, but I'm definitely willing to experiment. I'll get back to you guys when I have chosen, purchased, and tried a cup. Thanks again!

First time.
Hi, I'm interested in buying my first cup, and I'm thinking it'll be a Diva, since there's a shop near my house that sells them, but I was wondering, I'm from Toronto and will be heading there next week(I live in a small town for school), does anyone know anywhere in the city with more options, or should I just try a Diva for my first one?

Also, advice for a first time buyer? I'm totally new to this.

ALSO: I'd like to buy some cloth pantyliners from etsy, can you show me your favourites?

Size issues
Hello everyone.  I've had my small Lunette for over a year now, and it works all right.  The only issue I have is capacity.  I know that the small Lunette actually has a high capacity compared to other small cups, and even compared to a lot of large cups, but I have pretty heavy periods on my first two days, and it tends to leak overnight and during the day if I leave it in too long.  My method so far is to just wear a backup pad, but if I could I'd love to just go with a liner and have a cup I can use for ten hours at a time.  (I've just started student teaching, and some days I don't have time to go to the bathroom at all, much less time to fiddle with a cup.)

I've looked at the size charts, and the only cups with higher capacities are the large Lunette, the large Diva, and the large Fleurcup.  I know the Diva would be too long for me, and I'm in the U.S., so I'd have some trouble getting either of the other two.  But, even assuming I could get my hands on a large Fleurcup, I don't know whether it would fit me.  I'm a 23-year-old virgin, and I've only been able to fit two fingers in maybe once, and even inserting and removing the small Lunette is kind of painful.  (Some of that may be the lines on the cup--I tried it inside out, and it felt better, but it leaked more, so I don't use it like that.)

So I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience, and how much the size makes a difference, especially for insertion and removal.  Has anyone tried a large cup and found it to be too big?  If so, how could you tell that it was too big?  Thanks!

Need a new cup ^.^
I've been a happy DivaCup user for some years now, but for the past few months or so, I've had some difficulties with the length. It had never been a problem before, but now it seems I can't wear it at all because the bottom irritates my vaginal opening too much. I've been resorting to pads which makes me feel so gross and I absolutely hate it. I completely refuse to wear a tampon now. Cups = <3 haha. But yah, being cup-less sucks. I was using the small size (1 I think) and I'm looking for a shorter cup, but I need something that will ship to Canada. Any help?

Help me find a menstrual cup that will work!
My first cup was a size 2 Diva Cup. I had some problems with it. The stem would always push to my left and pinch me. So, I trimmed the stem. It's now gone. Some days it would stay in good, some days it wouldn't. I could never get it to turn. But, always it would start to fall out. So, I ordered a Lunette. I have the same problems. I want to use a cup so badly, but it's just not working for me.

I don't know if this relates, but tell me what you think. When I gave birth, I had a vaginal and labia tear. I am completely healed, but I still ache from time to time (it's been 19 months). I tore on my left side. Is this possibly what's causing me the pain?

But, why are they always pushing to the side? How do I get the to stop leaking? How can I better get them to fit? There are a lot of new cups out there now (to me, anyway). Would a different cup be better for me? I've tried turning them inside out.

I'm in the US, so I read I can't get the moon cup. What about the MiaCup, MeLuna, Femmecup, LadyCup, Yuuki, Fleurcup, or MPower?

I'd love some help, so I can find one that would work for me and place an order from Femininewear.

Thanks!
Wendy

size help?
I need some help making a buying decision.
I've been using a small BlueCup for 4 months now and am considering trying out a Fleurcup or a MeLuna with a loop (loop because my cervix sits high and I've had some trouble gripping the cup, and the stem proved to be slippery too). However, I'm unsure about the size. On the heavier days I have to empty the cup every few hours and I've experienced some leakage either through the holes when it's full or when squatting etc (maybe it's too squishy?), so I'd like a cup that's more convenient for these days. On the following days my period gets much lighter and the small Bluecup works fine. I'm 25, no children, thin figure and I would consider my vagina more narrow than wide, when I still used tampons I only used light or regular, that's why I chose the small BlueCup.
I've looked at the cup size chart and it seems like even the small Fleurcup can hold a lot more than the small Ladycup, and then the MeLuna even has 3 different sizes so I'm just.. indecisive. plus, I'm unsure about insertion and removal of a larger cup, I've had trouble with the small Bluecup, I couldn't insert it without lube the first time I used it (getting more comfortable with different folds makes it possible without by now though), and removing can be a bit uncomfortable when it gets towards the pelvic floor, I'm worried that a large cup might be even worse.
I can't afford buying cup after cup until I found the perfect fit (although that thought is very tempting! they're addicting, aren't they?), my budget isn't that big so any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Yuuki Review/(Lots of!)Comparison Photos (Featuring the Lunette and Keeper)
Hello everyone, this is actually my first post here (I usually only comment). A little backstory: My first cup was the Keeper, which didn't work out too well for me (I didn't like the thick rim or latex material), so I bought a Lunette. It worked pretty well for me, but I had leaking when I got out of bed in the morning or the middle of the night, and I wanted a spare that I actually liked. I think that problem has since been resolved (the last period I had with the Lunette was leak-free), but I'm still glad I now have a spare cup to keep in my backpack.

I decided to try the Yukki because I was intrigued by the design that was similar to the Lunette, but it seemed to be made out of a material more similar to the LadyCup. It turned out, it's a little more "rubbery" or "plasticky" like maybe a Meluna or toy, rather than the smooth, frosted texture of the Lunette (haha maybe way too much detail there). If you look closely at the pictures, you'll notice it's actually made up of a bunch of small ridges (probably different than the LadyCup or Meluna). It has more friction when it comes to folding, and I feel that it stays in place better than the Lunette (never had ANY problems leaking on the whole period I tried it for).

Thinking about getting a cup... (problem and questions)
Hi I have used the instead cup for my last 2 periods and I dont really care for them. I actually didnt know of any others until today when I found this site. So I have some questions. Well, my first big concern is with the instead... I put one in and was bleeding kind of heavy and i took it out a couple hours later and there was flow in it and when i wiped there was nothing. I didnt put anything in and waited a couple hours, went to the bathroom and still nothing... Im nervous that maybe somehow the cup did something to my cervix to block it up or something because it always hits my cervix when i take it out (this sounds dumb but i dont know much about this). Next question... how do the other cups sit in the vagina? The instead goes all the way around the cervix and i dont think that is possible with the other cups. Plus the instead cup was comfortable for a couple days but then i would start noticing it there and that is REALLY annoying!  I am just wondering where it sits, how far up it goes, where the stem sits.. and i dont care if it is graphic! I'm really interested but kind of nervous since i have been reading about the problems people have been having. thank you so much for your time :)

also what are the little holes for in the cup?

deciding on a cup
i have never used a menstrual cup, and would like to start since i have heard so many great things about using them.

i am just completely lost on which cup i should get. i only began properly researching cups a few months ago and i was going to get a moon cup uk, because i was under the impression it was the only one i could get hold of easily within the uk.
tonight i searched on ebay for menstrual cups and a ton of different cup brands came up and now the problem is i dont know which one to choose. ive read so many reviews on here too, and my indecision is just getting worse.
im 24, i havent had any children, my periods are extremely heavy and my cervix is high during my period (or at least i cant reach it with my finger). im concerned about leakage, especially during the night. im very familiar with my vagina (ha)... if it took a bit of effort to get the cup back out the first few times i wouldnt start panicking or anything like that.

on ebay uk the cups that are available are moon cup uk, diva cups, femme cups (i read that they dont hold much though?), ladycups and lunette cups. which would be the best for me? i am leaning towards the size 2 lunette cup, but im hesitant and would like someone to show me the way! i dont have a lot of money to spare at the moment, so i cant afford to purchase a lot of cups to find the "right one", sadly.

thanks in advance for any help you can give me
