Quick heads up.

Kurotokagi Gumi has released their bootleg of Stray Cat Rock: Wild Jumbo, the second of the series, and has placed the first film in the series on sale as of today.



As far as I know, neither of these films are available anywhere with subtitles. Kurotokagi's bootlegs are usually pretty high quality. I do own their bootleg of the first film and it's absolutely worth the $10.

Looks like Jeans Blues is also on sale as of today.

Added six different tracks, including her new single for those who weren't able to/or have not yet picked up the CD.

Plan to add more at a later date. I'm skimming through my collection for material that's not on her "Zenkyokushu" album. Thanks again to warden_goda for the track translations. Hope y'all enjoy. ^_^

Hi, this is my first post here. I'm more or less new to Meiko Kaji's endeavors, and I regret not being a fan sooner! She is quite awesome.

Anyway, I have a quick question: Does anyone know where I can find English translations to her songs? I've Googled it, but I've had no luck.

If I could only have a translation of one song, it would be "Onna no Jyumon." Just a translation of that one track will make me a happy camper.

I just received email from CDJapan telling about new Meiko Kaji single "Onna wo Yametai/Omoide Biyori". It costs 12$ and you can order it at CDJapan. Release date is 24th June.

Synapse films has finally announced a release date and details for their release of the Wandering Ginza Butterfly films!



They're scheduled to come out on May 19th.

This is a compilation of 20 songs, released in 2004, although many od the songs are much more older. In west known mainly for the two songs of the "Kill Bill"s soundtracks, which are also included.

TV-Asahi will broadcast the special drama "Chushingura - silent sword" (a spinoff story from "Chushingura" - the most familiar of all stories in Japan) on DEC.14. The hero Keinosuke is played by Masakazu Tamura(FCS4), Meiko's role is his foster sister Okyo.

I guess I'll go head and vouch for Kurotokagi. I've gotten Wander Ginza Butterfly I & II from them and the excellently entertaining Jeans Blue from them.

Kurotokagi Gumi has just put a up a new batch of releases and one of them is Bounty Hunter Muyonosuke, which Meiko Kaji is in.



In case you're unfamiliar with the site, Kurotokagi sells high quality bootlegs of Japanese movies and TV shows, mostly completely unavailable with English subtitles anywhere. It's a small operation, but they do a very good job with their releases.

They currently have 6 or 7 other Meiko Kaji films that are as yet unavailable with english subtitles. I recommend them all highly.

Okay I have all of Meiko Kaji's stuff.

But now I've just found out that there were two more movies made after Meiko (with Yuki Takigawa in '76, and Yoko Natsuki in '77), as well as a TV series in 2004 (Takami Mizuhashi) and even a NEW movie this year with Miki Mizuno.

I bought the series, cuz it was really cheap on Ebay.

Anyone know anything about these flicks? Are they worth my time to buy? I'm bit of a completist and if these movies exist, I feel compelled to get them, but any input from you guys would be appreciated.
