This community focuses on meditation, the facilitation, the effects, benefits and the various methods of achieving inner peace. It serves as:
An introduction to meditation.
A place to discuss experiences and methods of meditation
A source of encouragement to beginners
A support group for meditation practitioners
A source of contemplation for meditation practitioners
This community also acknowledges both mind-and-body connection with meditation and martial arts (thus the name “Meditation Dojo”). Members are also encouraged to discuss how meditation has played a role in their martial arts development. Feel free to interact with each other, sharing experiences, joys and pain in daily life in the spirit of meditation and spirituality. Fell free to also include inspiring quotes pertaining to meditation, spirituality etc.
Members are also encouraged to develop a brotherly and sisterly love among all members and create a loving and harmonious atmosphere for everyone to discuss. In line with that, we hope that all those who wish to join this community give a description about yourselves and what meditation is for you and how it has affected your lives. Everyone is free to post here and please cut long entries using LJ-cut. Please refrain from religious bashing, slander, backbiting, finger pointing and other forms of action that will bring about disharmony. Please respect the opinions of others as how you wish others to respect yours. Above all, enjoy yourselves. We hope you would learn more new things and achieve inner peace.
