Welcome to Maryland Grandeur, Maryland's first elegant gothic, lolita, and aristocrat livejournal community. This community is a special place for Marylanders and closely neighboring states with an interest in gothic & lolita fashion from Japan. We'd like to think of this as a safe haven from the bigger community [info]egl so please post your questions, outfits, and anything else you'd like to chat about (as long as we keep it mostly on topic). Please do find a chair, have some tea and maybe a pastry.

General Rules:

  • Proper etiquette is a must.
  • Please be polite and courteous to other members
  • If you have more than one photo or your photo(s) are large, they are to be placed under a lj-cut.
  • There is and will be absolutely NO child porn in this community.
  • No cosplay please. This is not a cosplay community.
  • Do drama please. Life is stressful for everyone.
  • DO NOT repost any entries or pictures to any other community (and I think most of us know which ones we're referring to). Please respect the fact that we'd like to make this a safe place for people who may be new to the fashion and are looking for help. Any member that is found reposting will be banned from the community and future meet-ups.
  • Having said that, if you come here looking for constructive critisim or advice, please take it in stride. We are not here to be rude, so please do not be rude back to us.

    Auction/Advertising Rules:

  • All auctions (text, pictures, and links) are to be put under a lj-cut.
  • All sales and auctions must have a title for what is being sold or traded. (Ex: "DS: White BTSSB Blouse") If you have more than one item, please put as much of a description as possible. (Ex: "DS: Brand/Off-brand blouses and skirts; mostly larger sizes")
  • Please only post your sale, sales journal, or auction once. A second post will need mod approval or it will be deleted.
  • Please do not advertise other communities without the mod's approval.
