Participants can specify what they want written and, in return, write a fic for someone else. There's a lot of love being spread around ^^,:: :: :: --» Rules :: If you've never participated in a fic exchange before (or hey, even if you have!) read THIS and think hard about whether or not you can make the commitment before signing up. :: All fics must be a minimum of 1,000 words. There is no maximum length, but all must be completed when sent in. :: Email your finished fic as an attachment to mcflysecretsanta@googlemail.com on or before the deadline. (before is always good!) :: Any coding or html must be included. :: Any fics that are under the word limit, obviously not spellchecked/beta read or do not match the request will not be accepted - they will be sent back with a note of what needs fixing. :: Fics do not have to be Christmas/Winter themed unless the requestor askes for it. :: You do not have to follow your assignment exactly - The prompts and everything after 'Things you enjoy' are to help spark ideas, but you do not have to include everything that your requestor puts down (though I'll be very impressed if you do!). :: If you fix any mistakes or change your fic after you have sent it in, please email in the fixed copy with a note that the other should be discarded. :: All fics must remain anonymous until the the day of the Big Reveal. After that, you are free to post the story wherever you wish. :: If you have any comments, questions or need help, either email the mod at the above address or leave a comment on the most recent mod post. :: If you are finding your assignment impossible, email the mod IMMEDIATELY and she will try to help you. The sooner you realise you are going to have a probelm, the easier it will be to sort it. :: If you dropped out without warning a previous year, you are not permitted to participate this year. :: The deadline for fics to be sent in is Tuesday 1st December. --» Calender ~ 2009 11th September; Sign ups begin 23rd September; Sign ups end 1st October; All assignments sent 1st December; Deadline for all fic 15th December; Posting begins! |
