AboutThis community is for My Chemical Romance slash fics. I created it because I got fed up with other communities having so many off-topic posts and it was impossible to find anything there. I hope, with this community, to provide an archive type of community with easy access to fics.
There are rules.
First off, always use a template of some sort and put the main fic behind an LJ-cut. Your post will be deleted if there is no LJ-cut. A standard template looks something like this:
Title:
Author:
Rating: (make an estimate. we'll tell you if you're wrong)
Fandom: (or band, or whatever)
Pairing(s): (use full first names, last names if someone is not a member of MCR)
Summary:
Author's Notes: (if any)
You don't need a disclaimer. That's what the one at the top of the info is for.
Second, please, please, please use your brain. Fics with terrible grammar or spelling will get deleted. I have no mercy...I am pure evil. Thank you very much. I should think that you wouldn't want anyone seeing your shit work. If you want someone to see it, there are plenty of communities that don't mind it.
Third, please put the chapter number next to the title in the template.
Fourth, I don't care if you use a fake LJ-cut and link to your own journal or your writing journal, but if you're going to do that, don't link to an entry with fifteen other things in it - just the fic.
Finally, it would be appreciated if, when posting a chapter of a work in process, you link to previous chapters. The chapters will be archived in the memories, but especially if your fic goes through a lot of different pairings, since fics will be archived by pairing, it would be very useful if you link past chapters.
