| About: | ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif){kind=small} mcr_icons is the first and largest icon community for the posting of My Chemical Romance icons & graphics.As of now this community is moderated due to some immature individuals in the past, therefore all posts coming into this community will need to be approved by the moderator. In order for your posts to be approved you will have to observe the following rules: o1. Credit where credit is due, even if the icon maker says "Credit is nice but not required", please make sure to credit them. It's the nice thing to do and shows you acknowledge and appreciate their work. o2. No fighting. This is a community for sharing icons and graphics in relation to My Chemical Romance. We will not tolerate people criticizing other people's work and saying derogatory things about it. If anyone has problems with other members of this community then please contact one of the community maintainers. o3. No advertising full stop. o4. Don't bother introducing yourself, we're not a fan community. We're here for the icons; if you have some to share with us then fantastic, if not then don't bother posting. o5. You are quite welcome to come and make requests for icons and or graphics. However, please do not pester icon/graphic makers to make things for you as this is incredibly annoying and puts them on the spot. Not nice! o6. We don't accept posts which contain links to locked communities or icon journals. If you post icons with a link back to a locked journal then I will simply reject it. I don't think it's fair to make people join your community or add your journal simply to see a batch of icons. So! If you submit a post like that I will reject it. o7. If you submit a post with a link to an journal outside of the community then please make sure you include a direct link to the post you're referring to. It would be a good idea to make sure you link to the specific post because if anyone comes looking for icons in future then they won't have any problems trying to find the post you've indicated. Failure to follow these rules will result in a warning and if you continue to persist then you will be banned. :) | |
