This community was made specifically for the purpose of recommending fan fiction from the My Chemical Romance fandom. We were sick of not having a place to keep track of all the great stories out there.
This community will also act as an archive of sorts, meaning that we (the mods and myself) will keep a post with stories updated. This will make it easier for you guys to find that one story that you just can’t seem to locate. We will also do new posts when we get new recs.
I don’t want to see this place have an elitist attitude where we only rec things that we like, or that were written by only well known authors. That’s why we will have a post for you guys to tell us about some stories that you think are a worthy read.

| RULES |
These aren’t just rules for the members to follow. We have rules too, and just because we’re the mods/maintainer doesn’t mean that we are exempt from them.
»It’s open membership, so anybody can join. However, only the mods and myself will have posting access.
»If somebody recs a story, and you do not agree with them, be civil about it. We respect your guy’s opinions a lot, but if you get nasty I will delete the comments and/or ban you. Just be respectful, it’s not that difficult.
»If you would like to recommend a story to us, feel free to comment in THIS POST. If you do decide to tells us about a story, please follow this format that we have set up. It will make things easier for all parties involved.
»Cross-overs are allowed, but only if a member of My Chemical Romance is a part of the main pairing. e.g. Gerard/Bert, Mikey/Patrick. This will be the only way cross-overs will be accepted. »Standalones and stories with no specified pairings are okay as well. Just keep in mind this is for My Chemical Romance only. »Stories of all ratings are allowed. »When we get told about a story, we will look over it before the rec gets posted. This will be done by two or more people to ensure that if it is rejected, it isn’t based on one person’s preferences or biases. »If we do reject something that you guys told us about, we will tell you why. We won’t be rude about it, but we will be truthful. Things like bad grammar, spelling, and just overall bad plots will probably make or break the decision. This isn’t saying that all stories must be perfect. We understand that people aren’t perfect and mistakes will happen, so this won’t be the only deciding factor. But please make sure the story is readable and not riddled with errors before you tell us about it. »Do not contact us at our personal journals. Those aren’t what they are there for. If you have questions or concerns let us know in THIS POST, and we will get back to you. »When commenting on anything, please use proper English.
