Rules and Info:

1.) Don’t be an asshole. This really should be common sense, but there are always exceptions with some people. If you don’t like someone’s writing or art, that’s fine; some constructive criticism could be in order, if you want to let them know why. But just saying, “That sucked!” will get you banned.

2.) Fanart and fanfiction goes behind a cut. Even drabbles go behind cuts. All that should remain out in the open are the descriptions of the fanart/fanfiction you’re submitting. If you don’t know how to use a cut, go here. If you continue posting without editing un-cut posts, or making more un-cut posts, they will be deleted.

These are just rough examples; these exact templates do not have to be used. Just as long as you give ample description of what you’re posting, we’re fine with it.

3.) Be open-minded. No, not everyone likes slash, and not everyone hates it. If you don’t like slash, don’t read it. If you don’t like het, don’t read it. It’s that simple. As such, please state in the description of your fanart/fanfiction if the pairing you’re using contains slash or not, before the cut.

4.) No macros. Wallpapers, headers, and friends-only banners, we’re willing to bend on, as long as they don’t get out of hand. We might lift this rule later if we feel sure that macros won’t overrun the place. We do allow icon posts, or mood theme posts. Other kinds of fanart, such as hand-drawn, digitally drawn, quality photographs, 3-D art, or anything like that are just lovely.

5.) Please spellcheck and proofread, or use a beta-reader if you feel you need one, when posting fanfiction. A typo or spelling mistake here and there is understandable; if professional writers were fired every time they published a book with a typo or grammatical error in it, J.K. Rowling would have lost her job by now. We don’t expect perfection. We do expect you to try, however. There’s really no excuse for a story riddled with spelling or grammatical errors.

6.) No sporking. No MCR fanfic sporks are allowed to be posted here. Go to

chemical_spork for that sort of thing.

7.) No stealing. If a claim is made against you, and you're accused of stealing someone else's artwork or fanfiction, the claim will be investigated. If you're guilty, you will be banned.

8.) No spamming. No advertisements for MCR gear, t-shirts, CDs, etc. No community promotions.

9.) We encourage constructive criticism. Not only that; we freakin' adore it. Got some CC about a piece of fanfiction, or some fanart posted? Brilliant, then comment! However, no outright flaming. On that note, please keep the whine-fest to yourself if you get some CC and don't like it. Constructive criticism can only help you become a better artist/writer.
