[Posted with mod permission.] On 6 September 2008, I will be attempting to gather all the SGA fans from mckay_sheppard that I've met in London in one place, as they've somehow managed to not meet each other. However, I know there are more of you out there, so I want to extend the invitation to anyone out there who's interested. Other SGA fans are certainly welcome too, though most of us do swing towards the McShep persuasion. If you feel like meeting some fellow SGA fans, pop by the Bear and Staff near Leicester Square on 6 September (note: the pub's exterior is black now, not red)! The plan is to start at 15:00, and we'll see how it goes from there. If you know you'd like to come, please leave a comment or send me a Livejournal message so I can have a general headcount. Title: Controlled Descent (Estimated Time of Arrival) Summary: John never expected it to happen, but he had always imagined that if it did, the setting would some sort of extreme circumstance, a life or death situation. Rating: G (PG? is kissing G?) Word Count: 1,060 Notes: Written for artword's Second Chances challenge, which was to take a previously written fic and piece of artwork and remix them with each other in context. I chose Controlled Descent, and clear_as_blood chose Faith. Sorry to be so late! Also, edited due to use of the whole art instead of the thumbnail--I hope your friends page forgives me!
