Secrets will be postponed this Sunday until next Sunday (19th July). Serah Adams, a well loved McFly Officials boardie passed away on 7th July. Secrets being postponed will signify our respect for Serah and how much of an impact she made on the McFly community as a whole. She was well known on the boards and was an inspiration to many. When Sheryl saw how upset many people on twitter were, myself included, she suggested postponing. It may be a small, insignificant gesture in the bigger scheme of things, but I think it's only fitting that we relinquish all of the bitching, to remember what this fandom is really all about. I've met some amazing people just through listening to McFly, and Serah was proof of that. She was a gift to us all.

However I'm only telling you this to give you a chance to sort out the fact there's only 13 secrets... surely someone's got something witty to say about how Danny looks, that tom's a twitter fan girl, Dougie has a b.o problem or that Harry... well the less said about him the better normally. But yes open paint, write something and submit it and make it a little more worthwhile to read please.

So sorry that I have a life.
The submissions instructions does actually clearly state that I don't have to tell you they'll be late if they're going to be up before 10pm on the Sunday. So cut your whining and bitching on twitter, myspace and every other fucking 'social' network that you can find. I've had a friend over all day who I never get to see so I wasn't about to sit and ignore her while I put the secrets up for you lot and now I'm about to cook dinner as its my turn.
They weren't going to be after 10pm but they may have to be now as ive just had a phonecall from my best friends mum and she's been in a car accident. So I'm going to go and see her later. Or do your secrets have to come before my friends welfare too?

Like Amy posted earlier the Bandwidth has Exceeded on the current photobucket we have, because of people hotlinking the secrets.
The people who are doing it, please stop because this is what happens.
Sheryl isn't online atm but she knows whats happened.
We now need to somehow buy a photobucket pro account, which isn't going to be easy seeing as we're all poor students.
We're currently trying to workout if we can get a back-up photobucket going to repost this weeks secrets.
So bare with us and we'll hoepfully get this all sorted soon.

IT has come to Sheryl's attention that the role of a McFly secrets mod has recently been abused. As a result of this, Sheryl saw fit to re-access the efficiency of the current mod squad.
Lookatthe_sky, Flobbadob, aliicullen and Shezzamoose will now be mod's of this community. There will be no ban's on certain genre's of secrets.

Small announcement!
The community is now FRIENDS ONLY. This means:
- to view entries, you have to be a member
- to do this, go to the community's userinfo (you can see it at the top) and click the link which says "join the community". Or words to that effect.
- MAKE SURE YOU JOIN THE COMMUNITY AND DON'T JUST ADD MCFLYSECRETSMOD AS A FRIENDS. We're not updating at the central account, there's no point in having it as a pal.
- This also means, no anonymous commenting in the secrets posts - no more hiding behind it. This isn't a choice I'm afraid - you just can't have anonymous comments on FO entries
The submissions/removal request post will still be open though, to allow for anonymous queries.
Why are we doing this? For the very simple reason that we actually feel quite bad at the people we hurt here - there's people who have secrets made about them who really do not deserve it. I.e. the girlfriends. We need to take people's feelings into account.
You'll also notice we now post secrets from the mcflysecretsmod account. This makes it easier for us to edit posts. I'm going to get us each an icon with our names on it so you can tell who's posting what week.
We'll announce the new maintainer later on today, and then I'll email them with instructions etc. This week I'll get onto getting a new list of rules and so on for the userinfo and getting icons made for everyone. I am finally done with uni until September, so I am all yours until then. Hooray!

Yes I know this is rather late in the day. But you can bloody well live with it. I had to travel back from Oxford today having gone to see them yesterday. It was awesome. However I will be entering a court case with Harry in regards to my new splinter.
Anyway. Better late than never so enjoy.

Theres one that I have not even put up. It was far too out of order. The sick twat that made it ought to be ashamed. Mocking those with disabilities is possibly as low as you could get.
This is not them all. My computer is having a massive spazz about the amount of times I am doing the same action and Im tired from travelling. But rather than giving you none at all I have posted as far as I could before my patience gave way. I will make a second entry tomorrow or Tuesday with the rest. Due to some recent complaints, I've decided it's time to do a poll.
This is, of course, in relation to fan, family and girlfriend secrets.

Ok I lie its just a reason to put off finishing my essays for a bit longer as I'm so terribly bored of contract and constitutional law and think my lecturers should stick it up their ass.

Hiya!
Your probably totally sick of hearing this by now but as you can see the secret bandwidth has gone bust, yet again.
It would really help if you guys didn't hotlink (give people the certain link to the secret) or use the secrets on other sites. You can easily save it to your fandabby PC and reupload to imageshack, xs.to, Photobucket or Tinypic.
It'll make it loads easier for everyone! But if you know of any other site like photobucket which is pretty user friendly please do let us know :D

I know I said I do these last night when I got home but I was just so tired and Im actually having a bit of computer trouble so even with our new fast way of doing this it has still taken a fairly long time in comparison to normal.
