Welcome to MBP Paparazzi, which really should be something like MBP Graphics but this sounds cooler. There are really two purposes for this community: 1) for people to post and request pictures from the costly, membership only sites (ie Getty Images, Wireimage, Corbis, Isifa, etc) that not everyone can afford but some people do have access to and might be willing to snag photos from; 2) for people to post and request help with making icons and/or graphics (since mbpcelebicons seems to be pretty well dead and we have no idea who's in charge of it anymore). Obviously this community will thrive on people helping people: if someone asks for a picture, someone with access to the site that it's at may be feeling generous, go and get the picture, and post it in the comments for the person requesting. Or someone who's icon-challenged can request help with that, and someone who's not can make the icons. It's a way to make MBP prettier, yes, but also a way for us to help each other and maybe bridge some of the gaps that we always seem to be stumbling over. All together now, awww.

Membership is moderated, but no one in the MBP universe will be turned away. It's only moderated so civilians can't sneak in. We love them, but this isn't the place for them. Along those lines, post should be friends only. It's not a big thing if you forget, but please try to remember. Feel free to join as as many characters as you may have, but please don't request completely random pictures--stick to just ones of your celebrity, and if you really, really want any others, I suppose maybe approach someone on AIM and see if they'd be willing to help out. This is strictly MBP here. Please be sure to friend the community so that you know when requests have been posted!

***Do not reply to this entry, or any other entries, with your requests (unless, of course, someone posts and says 'hey, I'm bored, who needs something?'). Please make a new entry for each request, that way they'll show up fresh on everyone's friends page as they are posted and people can try and help you as quickly as possible. People probably won't be checking old entries, so it's in your own best interest to do it this way :)

We want this community to be friendly and helpful, so please, no criticising anyone's posts or the icons or graphics you may receive. If you don't like them, post again in a few days. Saying thank you is always a really nice thing. This community will really rely on people taking their free time to help others, so foulness is just not cool, kids. Your friendly mods here are the same ones you have at the big old home, so feel free to approach us with any questions, comments or complaints. This post will be linked in the userinfo everyone can read it as they join to get an idea of what's going on. Thank you and have fun! :-D
