David Duchovny will be a part of a all-star team of celebrities and sport heroes that will be at the Field of Dreams in Dyersville, Iowa from March 17th to March 23rd.
Dyersville Iowa is in the Central Time Zone and nearby airports are the Dubuque Regional Airport and the Kleis Airport.
This is the spring practice season and while not all participants are good at baseball, all are welcome to participate and learn.
This event has been sponsored and there are non-celebrities present who will be participating in the spring practice. All proceeds from our sponsors (many of whom are civilians) go to help victims of natural disasters, with the majority going to the victims of the Tsunami.
Batting and catching practice is from 9 AM to Noon. Unscored baseball games will be held in the baseball diamond from 2 PM to 9 PM.
The night lighting will be used to illuminate the baseball diamond after sunset at 6 PM. Lodging provided by Comfort Inn, Colonial Inn, as well as the House at the Field of Dreams.
The weather is expected to be the occasional rain with showers March 17-19, and Partly Sunny March 20th and onward.
Everyone who wants to attend is expected to attend and update their journals at least about their experiences here learning how to play baseball, playing baseball, or watching people play baseball.

I know many are in Los Angeles today as the Emmys are tomorrow, so I want to invite you all to a birthday party. Amy is celebrating her 33 and I'll be celebrating my.... ugh, 30. Her's was on Thursday and mine is tomorrow, so throwing a party for both of us today is the best way to go.

Tonight's the night. For those of you who weren't sure if you could make it, I hear there are still flights available at Magical LJ Air. Why don't you hop on one and join us for the evening?
Transportation is provided to bring guests to and from our hotel, the Palm Springs Rivera. Upon arrival at A T L A S, you will be seated for dinner. You all look gorgeous, by the way. I like the pink! ;) Money is of no concern, so take a look at the dinner menu and order anything you'd like.
Once the formality of dinner is out of the way, it is time to celebrate in PINK style.

The location is ATLAS in Palm Springs, California. Many of our guests are taking a flight in on LJ Air to attend. It's such a magical airline. We've also taken the liberty of anticipating the need for a place to sleep post party and have rooms for all who need them at the beautiful Palm Springs Riviera.
The theme for the party is P I N K . Though not required, wearing something pink would add to the festivities. Keep in mind that it's said to be 109 as a high temp on Saturday. The place is ours for the night so anything goes.

Today is the third day of Sakura Matsuki, which is the Japanese cherry blossom festival. Sakura Matsuki is a Japanese tradition that happens every year. Basically speaking, it's our way of welcoming Spring. The season lasts for approximately a month, and is usually host to many parties. Traditionally the Japanese wear costumes to celebrate at said parties.
So here's where you come in.
Who: You, and yours. Everyone who's anyone is invited!
What: A Sakura Matsuki party.
Where: My LA beach house.
When: April 1st, 2004.
Why: Why not?
The only hitch is that I require that you dress up. This could be a costume or formal attire - it's your call. Anything goes, really.
