Just want to ask, is the server offline atm? Can't seem to login....

I have a complaint to make regarding the Gludin port quest. Given the port quests are there to make us visit places on the map, I think making us go to each place twice or three times is entirely unnecessary. And then being made to go "back in time" so that I have to do it all over again is just ridiculous. Not all the places are reachable by paid teleport and I've spent hours running back and forth to places I've already been to, defeating aggro mobs that give me nothing because I'm 3x their level, and I'm still not done. I really don't want to run from Gludin to Orc Barracks for the 4th time. This can't be the point of port quests can it?

Also, any hint on where I can find Chay in the elven area?

I swear I am going to die laughing. a comic roughly about Zaken (navigate using the '악마섬의 주인 #' links on the right)

it is quite a lot to plough through and I have no idea what is going on, but there are some shining moments like Zaken's piggy pillow. there are also weird things like an LE with black hair who looks suspiciously like L, and a very perky orc with fish eyes.

we at legerdemain have a lot of unfinished business with Orfen! so we are wondering if it's possible to do Orfen raid this weekend, she's lv 50, do you guys has any alt within this lv?

If you're interested in what's going on in Chronicle 5 but don't want to bother trudging through the forums, here's some basic info.

• The map has been significantly expanded, and there are some good level 50+ hunting grounds. You can, in thoery run, from Elmore to Dion, but you'd have to pass through some level 70+ territory. One of the cutest additions was this little NPC; take a peek at the two screencaps following it, and you'll see what a troublemaker he is.

• Demonic Sword Zariche is pretty crazy. You can read early interview with a PTS owner, but right now it's something the heroes tend to go after soon as it appears, and some are "exploting" it, passing it on to clannies and training people. There are a few interesting and good suggestions made in that thread though, but anyone who knows NCSoft knows they don't listen to their NA players. With fewer people on a private server, I don't know if the drop probability from mobs will have to be increased or not.

• Skill Changes/Additions
  The two most notable changes IMO:
  
  • Sleep time was hit hard. As an example watch this and keep in mind that's a buffed Prophet with an acumen weapon, tats, and the casting speed bonus from the robes.
    
  • Summoners, a rare enough breed, now must beware of losing their weapon (summon) to Erase. Recast time for a summon is slow, so during that time you're vulnerable. Moreover, people can see your summons HP and what "color" it is in relation to themself. This "nerf" was allegedly implimented because summoners were doing too well in the Olympiad.
• Gatekeeper Fees

Fic-type stuff, born from a random convo with tongari while Ryuuku and Anotsu were on a date (in which we also speculated on the possibility of Gragh having a crush on Sovari, which would be sosad but also kind of TRAGICALLY BEAUTIFUL, in an orcish way. :D)

Dimension Rift is a party hunting area; the doors to this don't work in L2J because on official they are for specific level brackets (separate room for 10-20, 20-30 etc). I haven't tested to see if mobs exist in this place yet :D;

Just opened L2 and a lengthy update/download process started by itself, which looks like will take all night. Is this Chronicle 4's auto patching, since C4 just launched? Should I let it download? Will cancelling the download be a good idea?

Just a hello to everyone playing this server :) I'm from L2-Paradise (and yes CoM); my two main chars on L2P are a 7x Sorc (Caliah, retired) and a 7x Hawkeye (Absinthe). Athren is my first character here (hoping to make him a Phantom Summoner); I'm something of an L2 junkie :X If any of you would like to see some of the caps I have they're on my LJ under the lineage_2 tag.
