Information About Matt and Near (Spoilers)
Matt's real name is "Mail Jeevas". He was born on February 1, 1990, and died on January 26, 2010. His blood type was O, his weight was 115 pounds and he's five feet and six inches tall. He was four days away from his twentieth birthday when he died.
According to Death Note: How to Read 13, Matt enjoys video games but dislikes going out. He was right behind Near and Mello for L's sucessor.
Near's real name is "Nate River". He was born on August 24, 1991. He is two years younger than Mello and one year younger than Matt. His blood type is B, his weight is 88 pounds, and his height is five feet and one inch.
Near is often seen playing with toys, solving puzzles or stacking things up. He has a collection of Lego figures that represent certain characters in the series. He is, officially, L's succesor.
