About ABOUT MATT GIRAUD Singer/songwriter and piano player, Matt Giraud grew up in Ypsilanti, MI where he played drums for his local church. As time passed, Matt became more serious about his music. He taught himself how to play piano and also started studying music in college. He and friend Gerry Mattei received minor success with his first Downbeat award in "DOWNBEAT" magazine for the song "First Impression". Matt's passion is to entertain and he hopes to use his talents on a larger scale very soon. Today he is a regular performer at Zazio's lounge and Monaco Bay in beautiful downtown Kalamazoo, MI. | ||
