I used to run a Chirstmas card exchange for the M&W fuh-q-fest, and I was wondering if there was any intertest in having me run it again this year? My email address for it is here.

Okay, this is to notify that my post for my fanfic Lost Memory is indeed a prologue, not an epilogue. Feel free to call me an ignoremus. xD!

This is a quick note to everyone who donated money to the old Snape/Lupin fuh-q-fest site - http://chance.popullus.net/masterandthewolf/index.html - that the password protected site - http://chance.popullus.net/velia/ - with Harry Potter music videos, plus things like the mp3 of Alan Rickman reading "Sonnet 130", is being taken down at the end of the month. As it takes a serious amount of space and is using a *lot* of the site's bandwidth. I just thought I'd give you all enough of a heads up in order to save any of the videos or mp3s before it does go down.

Sorry about the cross-posts, but a number of people have changed their email addresses and I want to give everyone who has donated money as much warning as possible...

Seeing as I'm currently online, I thought it's be a good idea to do a minor push for the end of the Snape/Lupin fuh-q-fest 30-min challenge - Master and the Wolf - in the off hand chance that there are any last stories floating around for it or late stories from previous waves. I should be online and free to add the last stories most of this weekend. As the 30-min challenge is supposed to end on Saturday I thought I better make an effort to wrap it up at least :) Please send any stories for it to my gmail address here, any new stories would be very gratefully recieved. Thanks :)

    Master & Wolf update
Lore has agreed to take over running the Snape/Lupin fuh-q-fest luckerly for everyone :) I've also cancaelled the remaining subscriptions had with Paypal to help support site, please do not re-subscripe until I get back online again (that's assuming you want to re-subscribe of course :). But I didn't want the money turning up in my Paypal account and just sitting there because I don't have internet access... Thanks :)

    "Missing, Believed Dead"
    "Missing, Believed Dead" by tetsubinatu
CHALLENGE: 3) After killing/apparently killing Dumbledore, Snape flees Britain. Dumbledore’s picture reveals the truth. Remus searches for Severus, but how can he find a spy?

Has just been added to Master and the Wolf and is listed on the story archive and the authors page.

Unless I get some 30-min stories in the next 24 hours this is going to be the last story I add to the Snape/Lupin fest. It was fun while it lasted and I'm sad it's ending now as I would have loved to keep on doing it! :)

Master & the Wolf & CSI archive
Everything has just gone to hell in a hand basket for me, (yes due to the $2250 hospital bill :P), to the point that food is an unnessiary luxury and I'm going to have to cancel my internet access on Monday & my power bill is going to be turned off on Tuesday if I can't arrange to have it paid off a bit at a time - which has been arranged before so... (Don't worry I can't bring myself to ask for help paying these things).

Which means I'm hoping to find someone a few people to take over Master and the Wolf - which the Snape/Lupin fuh-q-fest, part of Harry Potter fandom for those of you don't know - and my CSI Slash archive. So at the very least the site itself won't suddenly stop being updated, when I vanish.

Thanks for all of the help everyone has given me over the last few months. Hopefully I will get enough people to take over by Sunday evening NZ time, so I can arrange to give them the username and password for the site before Monday morning NZ time. Sorry about the short notice, but the straw that broke the camels back happened this morning.

    Master & Wolf 30-min stories?
I've still got the next 4 days off work, but I'm starting to get boried so I'm hoping people will be willing to give me something to do :) As a result I'm reminding people of the Master and the Wolf's 30-min challenge that's currently going on, in the hope I'll get a few more stories to add over the next few days. The same rules as usual, the story itself has to be written in 30-minutes, you do need to spell check etc the story afterwards, you *don't* claim challenges and you can use any challenge you want even if it's already been used.

Also, if those who haven't noticed, there are 5 really good stories written for this challenge by KateKintail already up on the site :)

I'm going to hospital soonish so the Master & Wolf site and the CSI Slash site arn't going to be updated for the next couple of days or so. (Until I'm feeling human enough to start again). Though it's proberly only going to be noticable on the CSI Slash site).

    Master & Wolf funding
I *really* want to get the funding for the site - Master and Wolf - sorted out before I go into hospital on Tuesday. Donations have been going very slowly and I'd deeply appreate any more donations via Paypal -

If you don't want to or can't afford to donate money, I'd also deeply appreate if you'd write something for the 30-min challenge. The idea behind this challenge to get people writing snupin stories, espically getting people in who don't want to commit to writing a full length story. The whole process would take about an hour from picking a challenge to checking the story afterwards and sending it into me at chance.michael@gmail.com.

A massive thank you to everyone who has donated money, espically over the last couple of months and those who have subscriptions, I don't know what I'd have done without any of you!

    Master & Wolf 30-min reminder
Just a quick reminder for the Snape/Lupin fuh-q-fest's 30-min challenge - http://chance.popullus.net/masterandthewolf/index.html - which is running this month. It has the same rules as prevous 30-min challenges, in that you *don't* claim challenges for this and you can use *any* challenge you want even if it's been used before. (And yes you can write multiaple stories using the same challenge if you want to). The story itself should eb written in 30-minutes, though you are allowed to plan the story out before hand and you do need to do a spell-check at the very least afterwards. (You don't need to have the story betaed if you don't want to, so long as you've done the spell check).

I've also made sure all of the email address on the site have been changed to my gamil one - chance.michael@gmail.com - could everyone please send stories to this address rather than my paradise account? Thanks ! As I'm just not getting stories sent to my paradise account over the last 2-3 months :P

That said I am having an operation on Tuesday so I am going to be off line for a few days next week, which means any stories I get after Tuesday morning NZ time won't go up until I'm back at home and am feeling up to it. (Which should be Friday or Saturday NZ time).

Also because I *really* don't want to be worrying about money I'm going to be doing a *very* early push for donations via Paypal for the site for March/April.... Use one of the links at the fest's page - http://chance.popullus.net/masterandthewolf/funding.html. As I despretilty want to be as stress free as possible before next week, I'd deeply appreate it.

    Snape/Lupin 30-min challenge reminder
The next 30-min challenge for Master and the Wolf is starting tomorrow New Zealand time, so I thought I better remind people about it :) Also you don't need to claim challenges for this and can use challenges that have already been used before.

Also a word of warning I'm going to be in hospital for an operation next week, so the site won't be updated for a few days starting Tuesday afternoon NZ time. If anyone sends me stories next week they should be up by Saturday.

Also a quick reminder if anyone is planning on buying anything from Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk anyway, I'd deeply appreate if you'd use one of the site's links before you order anything. Thanks :)

    Fundraising
Sorry about this, but we're currently $10 short on funds for Master and the Wolf. If anyone is willing to donate via Paypal I'd *deeply* appreate it. (If more than 1 person donates the extra money will be saved for next month of course).

If anyone is willing to donate on a regular bases, which would help a lot of course, the subscribe links for various amounts can be found here. Thanks.

    30-min challenge & fundraising
The 3rd Snape/Lupin fuh-q-fest is strating on the 1st of March and is ending on the 31st of March. There the same rules as prevous challenges, where you don't need to claim the challenge you want to use, you can plot out the story before, you need to at least spell check the story afterwards and the story has to be written in 30 minutes. You can use any challenge you want, even if it has already been used before in this challnge. The challenges don't need to be closely followed, espically the more complicated ones, so long as the story is clearly Snape/Lupin.

I'd also appreate any pimping of this challenge, as the more stories we get for it the better :)

Also the last month and a half has been almost dead refferal wise when it comes to Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk. As the site is 100% dependant on earning refferal fees from these sites and from donations/subscriptions via Paypal. The site's donations page lists Paypal buttons for subscriptions and one-off donations, all donations via Paypal will help massively. If you're planning on buying something from either Amazon siteI'd deeply appreate it if you'd click on the approate link first. Thanks :)

    Snape/Lupin fuh-q-fest
I'm thinking about doing a short 30-min challenges for Master and the Wolf, but with a new set of challenges that are solely based for 30-min challenge stories rather than standard stories. So I was hoping people would be able to start suggesting new challenges for it now.

At the moment I picture it starting on the 1st of March and only lasting 1 calaender month, with the same rules as prevous 30-min challenges. (Being you don't need to claim challenges, the story itself has to be written in 30-minutes, but can be plotted out before hand you want to and has to be at least checked - including spell-checked - afterwards...) I'm going to suggest that people resond to this post with new challenges. Thanks :)
