Greetings,
I've just joined the community, and while I am a freelance artist by trade, when it comes to digital art I'm a little technologically inept. I tried to do two icons, one of the 2004 movie, and one of the melbourne ALW production with Anthony Warlow as phantom. As for my icon making, I would love to know your opinions on them, if they are ok.
So I shall attempt to put them in here.
The first one, of the stage production, I wanted to impart a feeling of magic, because I felt that came across more in the production that the film.
The second one, as my photoshop efforts are more... baptism of fire than anything else. It says "Angry angel do not shun me", which is hard to read as I have discovered it is best to add text perhaps after I minimize the image. Please let me know your thoughts or criticisms :)
And should it be any good, the textless is not a base, and Im not ready for circulation just yet. But once I et some crit/feedback I'll know if I should keep it up
