I swear, the only thing worse than not being able to fall asleep is not being able to fall asleep while you're not home. I don't have anything with me that I do at home to help & nothing I'm trying tonight is working. :( I am too exhausted to hold a book let alone read but still I've been laying here for hours & haven't managed to drift off at all. Feh. Its time to try again. |

I went to Bath & Body Works with the intention of buying some sort of exfoliating body scrub. Do you know what I bought instead? A stuffed lamb. It's ridiculously soft, and I kind of haven't set it down since I got home. It was in with all their aromatherapy stuff, so it smells really nice, too.
Then I went to Victoria's Secret because I need, oh, everything except yoga pants. So of course I bought baby blue yoga pants.
I've already named my lamb. Who wants to take a wild guess what its name is? I want to see if I'm as predictable as I think I am. |

Beyond that its just as well I forgot to bring the extra blanket this week; Wunderground.com described the weather down here this weekend as "unseasonably warm". It was something over 80* today & tomorrow is supposed to be hotter. Ug. They don't spend as much money out here when its this hot. Though I am laying bets that I'll want the extra blanket next week...

So. I decided that at the end of the month I will be getting a tattoo. That is if I don't chicken out last minute.
I will be getting "Love is Power" written on the side of my foot in a font I found designed after John Lennon's handwriting.
It is a Monkees quote. Yes it means a lot to me. The phrase reminds me of so many things: My love for politics, my love for the sixties, my ability to get through the hard times on my own (when I feel alone, I sit and watch a tv show of "The Monkees" and it reminds me of being a kid so much and it cheers me up immediately), standing up for what you believe in and making yourself known.
I hardly doubt I will regret my decision since it will be small and will always mean something to me.

In addition to that, if you do masturbate to the sight of a penis but hate looking at vagina, maybe you should perhaps consider the fact that you might just be heterosexual. Wow, if you accept yourself, maybe you can pull that rod out of your ass and replace it with a nice fleshy penis. Your latent sexual desires will cause you to sleep with someone of the opposite sex one day when you are in a committed relationship anyway. It's called being on the down-low. Have you seen Brokeback Mountain or Fire? It's like that, only with one man and one woman instead of two men or two women. Don't worry, no one will hate you for being heterosexual. We live in an accepting world. No ones going to beat you up in an alleyway because you like the opposite sex. Many of our best presidents liked the opposite sex. Heterosexual marriage is now legal almost everywhere. It's being accepted by religions worldwide.
However, if you are, in fact, a lesbian and love to eat vag with a side of titty, then by all means, enjoy your meal. But learn to take a freaking joke. I make fun of everyone. Don't feel so special. |
