This is a community for anybody on livejournal who admires Marya Hornbacher's work and Marya herself. Over 5 years ago was stunned that there was no Marya community as I knew many people who were as moved and inspired by her memoir Wasted as I was and still am. At the time only Wasted had been published and this community has been going strong since then and through the publication of her 2nd and 3rd books.

Feel free to post news on new publications or your favourite excerpts from Wasted, Center Of Winter or Madness. Basically anything Marya-orientated goes! Interviews, news, links, stories of inspiration and so on!

PLEASE NOTE:
This is not a pro-ana community, nor is it is an ED support community. Please keep posts on the topic of Marya and her work, not solely anorexia and bulimia. I don't want to have to start booting people out because they can't understand the simple intention of this community: it pisses off the members who are here to discuss Marya's writing and inspiration.
