I have tried to talk about my issues with drawing (particularly fanart) and it just isn't working. Now I don't know what I'm going to do. Would you stop doing something you like to stop the strain on your relationship, or just live with the strain in order to continue doing it?

I don't know if it's hilarious or sad, but I realized when I was watching the Futurama movie (Bender's Big Score) that the plot was exactly like one of my fanfiction. XD The time-travel aspect, anyway.

I STILL WANT THAT DAMN BOOK but I am quitting my job, hur hur.

I'm just giddy excited about the new VP artbook that came out. I want to buy it but I'm short on cash. Thanks to barrel_goddess uploading the pictures, maybe I can make it until the next paycheck I get! XD I'll get a little bit of a boost since my raise... as infinitely small as it will be, will be added retroactively.

I've been re-reading Angel Slayer to try and gain some direction with it. When I got to ch.3 it occurred to me that I may as well make notes for editions as I went along.

( So, here they are. )

I want to write a fanfiction that might sort of possibly lead into The Accused One. I'm not one of these people who wants to write the cutscenes from games before they even come out based on screenshots or anything. That's annoying. XD This story will stand alone and be unrelated to the upcoming sequel, but maybe if I get close enough I can have one of those Colbert moments and have an I CALLED IT. No really, it's just because I can't get enough emo Rufus.

The Xenosaga voice drama things are being translated. I am nolonger so in the loop that I would care enough to say "I told you so" but I remember certain people freaking out about random stuff related to that meaning more than it did. XD And of course, according to XL, everything equals to Jr. being a manwhore.

I canceled the bogus TotA thing that I almost bought. I ended up overdrawing my bank account anyway, though. XDD fuckin shoes I had to buy because I left mine in Alabama, and then I saw a copy of Koudelka for $25. I always ALWAYS wanted that game! ;O; I don't know if it's atcually good though. XD I just know that it's semi-related to Shadow Hearts?

Angel Slayer--Odin thinks he is going to go all "Lezard" on Wynnia so to speak, but she gets back at him somehow. Frigg wants to punish him XD Silmeria is disgusted and slaps her, Wynnia says thank you.

Still not sure what to do with Frigg though. Maybe she didn't exist before and was just created. I have to figure this out. I wish I felt this gung-ho about stuff all of the time instead of rarely (and when I have to work).

I need a "fandom has taken over my brain" icon. Anyway. I'm bored at Panera bread so here we go.

Well, I deleted all of my questionable fics and stuff off my computer. FridayFrige backed it up though, so don't freak out. XD None of it is finished anyway, but it is under friends lock at fridayfrige.

Do you know how much of an ass someone sounds like when they tell you to take art classes? XD

I firmly believe in figure drawing classes, but if you don't have hundreds of dollars, a local college with a fine arts program, and the time to go to class for hours ever week because you actually WORK for a living, then that option isn't really available.

That whole reply to "I'm trying to learn anatomy" just screams I'm a rich bastard who lives in a big city and like to tell people what to do.

OMG heavy subject. Here? WHY?

Okay, I'm not going to get into my feelings about abortion here. It's just that I hate when they get all stupid about pregnancy in fiction.

CSI Miami keeps pissing me off anyway because of the main character and his moral crusades. In an episode I watched, a pregnant woman was killed. They were all weepy about removing the fetus from her even though it was probably still in the first trimester, and then he vowed to always search for ways of accusing the criminal who got away on the child's birthday, blah blah blah. I wouldn't care, EXCEPT for the fact they insinuated that if not for her being pregnant, the woman would just be another random unsolved murder. Who cares about the mother? UNBORN BABY!!

That's completely contradictory to the original CSI where Catherine went on a rant at a pro-lifer. XD But that seemed more logical/reasonable since different characters had different views towards it through the episode.

And I was pondering that when (because it's Spike TV you know, WTF else do I watch) Star Trek: Voyager came on, and Ba--not even gonna try to spell this. Klingon Girl was pregnant. They did this whole joke where they scan her and try to find out where that extra life form signal is coming from! I know it was a stab at Star Trek brand humor, but if their sensors are intelligent enough to distinguish a recently conceived organism from the mother and all of her natural bacteria etc. then why can't it say "status = PREGNANT"! Not that Star Trek EVER makes a helluva lot of sense, but come on.

Been wanting to rant about that for a while now. XD Sorry.

Thanks to one of my reviewers I found out that VP2 actually covered its own ass on one major plot hole I have been grappling with. After the game and many fan works were insinuating that einherjar!Rufus can become a god, I instantly wondered why they didn't just go back to the damn yggdrassil sparkly thing and power up Rufus before going to fight Lezard. Of course I didn't try to when I was there because I had gotten lost in that place and I just assumed that since Rufus was a zombie now they were screwed on that approach. BUT apparently if you go up there after reviving Rufus, there is a cutscene explaining that Lezard put a barrier around it to keep them from getting in. Lulz. This smells of a plot device created to cover plot hole, because if he thought she was a threat, why wouldn't he just kill Alicia before she could revive Rufus? Maybe he needed her and her team to assemble in order to make sure Lenneth came from the future to stumble into his plot properly. Oh well. I guess it's better than Xenosaga which makes its entire plot OUT OF plot holes. XD

I found that amusing. But anyway, tomorrow I aim to finish inking the comic of doom and do some Avaricia pixels. Then I just have to shade over half that comic and it'll be done. 15 days left. Easy right?

I don't think I did my taxes. My dad said he would help me since I have no idea how, but it never happened. That sucks. =/

Hwa ha. So... I wrote a big scene in Angel Slayer. I am at another one of those places where I have very little idea where I am going, but at least I am going somewhere instead of giving up on the fic (as usual).

I am in a tricky place because since my early Xenosaga-fic-writing days, I have gotten very anal about consistent chapter length (except in special cased like prologues or epilogues or breaks in the story etc.) and this is only 3k when it should be 5k. I don't know how to slap another scene on there since I'm not 100% sure what I want to do next. I would much rather have Hrist bust out of confinement and try and kill everybody than peacefully agree to help, but that deserves a chapter to itself. XD I don't want to show what happened to Rufus and Wynnia just yet... hm. Maybe I should actually go back to the beginning and throw in some stuff about Rufus and Wynnia since they won't be getting much fluffy quality time for a while.

Hm. HMMMMMMM. *thinks*
