AboutThe world has always held the extraordinary and unusual, hidden by myth and rumor. At the dawn of the twenty-first century, however, a change began. Ancient monsters crept out of the shadows. Science reached for undreamed of heights, peeling back the universe's secrets. Emboldened criminals preyed on weakness and fear. Humanity itself began to change with mutations appearing in record numbers. Heroes arose to protect this strange, new world. Some loved, some feared, all Marvels.
Welcome to the Marvel Team-Up Role Playing Game!
This game posits that the Marvel movies, from 1998's Blade to 2008's The Incredible Hulk exist in one cohesive universe. It is a world of heroes, monsters, weird science, and dark magic. It also contains a slight edge of realism (i.e. no yellow spandex for the X-Men) to ground the characters. The other element to the game is that it seeks to capture the spirit of the Marvel Team-Up comic, where characters randomly run into each other, talk, fight, and then get on with super-heroing. One big, happy world.
The game will be LJ-based, focusing on plot and characterization.
