Got My Package~! <3 [11 Oct 2008|11:09am] fleurdetragedie Yesterday, I received my package from alwayshope  ! It was a beautiful A and W themed package! It contained~ - Chapstick in Apple and Watermelon flavors! - A pink Watch - Artsy stuff - Coloring Book, Crayons, Watercolors (And I'm not even gonna lie, I'm 10 years old at heart and LOVED this probably the most! I've already colored in it ;_; ) - Whoopie Cushion - Whistle Pops (made by Airheads :D ) - Wonka Candy - Nerds to be exact ( I already tore into these, I LOVE this candy!) - Wash buddy XD - It was a Kangaroo and super cute! I think that's it! I took a ton of pictures, but my main photo editing computer is not being nice today! :( Thank you so much though, I loved everything and how it was decorated and the lovely envelope with my name on it! :D    1 stamp|stamp it!

It is a an awesome package of things that begin with K! The day it came was perfect too, it was rainy and miserable, and I had a very long day on campus. An Excellent Package . . . [11 Oct 2008|01:02pm] nagain Hurrah! Today I received my 'E' themed package from little_stone from Australia! It is truly excellent, and little_stone's effort was amazing, and much appreciated!! Isn't it all fantastic? A list, then: An Elephant Card (I'm so glad there is so much Elephant stuff, I kinda have a thing for Elephants!!), a funny little egg (he's so cute!), a cd wih songs/artists beginning with E (which is great! It already has a permanent place in the car stereo), the cutest echidna toy, a book on Escher (who I love - so was super happy to see this!) and a book on Ecuador, a little elephant jewellery tray, some super cute earrings, and some elephant wall decor stickers, hurrah! Thanks again little_stone, it was a fantastic package! :) 4 stamps|stamp it!

My Worries Have Disappeared! [08 Oct 2008|02:26pm] foto_grafh [ mood | excited ] I'm so relieved that my package arrived today!  I was worried I would move and the package would never find me.  Anyway,  I received a wonderful "C" package with Canadian Goodies from Adacic.  She sent a mix Cassette tape, on it is music from Corb Lund (local music from where Adacic lives).  She says they are a Country/Prairie band.  I like country and not too sure what prairie is, but I'm excited to listen to it.   Coffee scented Candles in little tiny Coffee mugs (I'm glad they didn't melt in the Arizona heat) A tiny Canadian flag Carob Chips that ended up melted (Arizona is still 100 degrees F) that are for Cookin' up some yummy Carob Pumpkin Muffins (recipe included and I'm excited to try them)  A letter "C" related joke that is actually pretty funny...the creaMass paper. The letter came in a Copper Colored envelope Thank You so very much Adacic!  When I get all moved and find my cassette player I will listen to the music and when I find all of my baking stuff I will try the Carob Pumpkin Muffins. 5 stamps|stamp it!

[08 Oct 2008|04:55pm] d_chan Got my "D" package from charlotte_lee and I love it :) I got a: deck of playing cards - from a casino - that's so cool dark chocolate- yum I'm eating what what's left of it's goodness now :) dangling earrings - handmade by charlotte_lee too! digital pictures - soo pretty! I wish I had views like this where I live! Dia de Muertos card - the illustration is gorgeous House of the Dawn book - I love books and I haven't read this one before. Looks interesting! A totally awesome haul for my first package :) 1 stamp|stamp it!

I only know its from Tarahble cause I ripped open the box to read the letter but I have to run back to work (damn you work!!). Pictures asap!!! How funny we're both named Tara(h). Consider the Contents: * Cuddly Crimson Cat, who's now watching over all my games and DVDs. * Colourful hand-knitted hat. I love this to death and will be wearing it on my trip to work every day - my husband's dead jealous. * Chicks with Sticks - Cute novel I'll probably be enjoying now I've got a long weekend. * Cube with Coasters on from Cedar Point (One of the two theme parks I most want to visit in the world). * Candle in a jar. It smells fantastic. * Cranes. They survived the journey beautifully. I am in complete awe of anybody who can knit or do origami, much less both. Summary: COOLNESS! 15 stamps|stamp it!

A is for Athena! [07 Oct 2008|09:53pm] jammaster_goat [ mood | loved ] [ music | Soon to be my new mix CD! ] I thought this package was very innovated, I was really impressed! I was really surprised on how well thought out everything was. The note was write in auburn, and everything was wrapped in "Amarillo," Spanish for yellow. And everything she thought of was really creative. Props to you jupiter_star! ( The swag, as modeled by my one month old Magdalene. OMG PACKAGE! [07 Oct 2008|07:57pm] thesmallwonder [ mood | thankful ] I just received my package from fatmum  and it is awesome!!! My letter was S, for the S in my screen name :3 I recieved a lovely post card featuring a quilt block titled "Summer Clothesline" and all sorts of surprises about my super package were revealed in the writing inside it. I got a tiny leather shoe stitched by hand by fatmum! It's apparently an nearly authentic replica of an English shoe circa 1100 AD, it's was a prototype for shoes she's going to make her husband! Shoelaces from www.thebigwild.org, which I'm going to check out after this post ^_^ A beautiful paper cut out utalizing a technique called schereschnite, its so pretty and its going on my wall at work ^^ A silly silk hat from a place called Ten Thousand Villages, it's pretty fantasticly silly A Shiney Silky coin purse, I love it! A shiney satiny satchel, full of scrumptious soap! And stunning silk pillow cases, they're so wonderful! EEEEEE! Thanks for my super, scrumptious, silky, satiny, superb package!!! 2 stamps|stamp it!

The letter B! [07 Oct 2008|02:49pm] mitsu_chan [ mood | excited ] I got my package yesterday, and boy did it cheer me up after a long day. I was so happy to open it. Here we have everything, clockwise from the bag, from kid_pirate (and I apologize for the cel phone picture, it was the quickest way to photograph the stuff and post it here- I'll be taking better ones for future rounds): - a lovely black and white striped bag, tied with a black ribbon - black fake moustaches and a black eyepatch (I'm sure my boyfriend is going to want to swipe these, he loves doing costuming stuff XD ) - cute buttons- love these, they've got cute animals on 'em! - blue candy barettes - black dice stud earrings - bow for my hair - pink bunny necklace And the note had a Barbie sticker on it. Thank you so much, kid_pirate! Such cute and lovely things in my package. I had so much fun for my first package round! I was also in the postcard round last month but I was so excited to do a package round too. :D Can't wait for next month! Oh.... and on a semi-related and horribly dorky note, I also got a Batman shirt in the mail that I had ordered not long ago. Hooray! 7 stamps|stamp it!

My Package! [07 Oct 2008|10:36am] charlotte_lee I got my package a couple days ago, but my computer is down and I had to wait til I could get to another one. headspoofledort sent me a really C package of 'C' items. ~ A change purse ~ A cookie that she had sewn. My 11 month old son really loves it ~ Hand painted coasters, which my son also loves. The glitter of them rocks his world. ~ A painting with a C word ~ And some change, because (as I found out from her) its bad luck to give a money holder with no money in it. I am super thrilled with my first round, and I cant wait for the next one! 2 stamps|stamp it!

My p-p-Package arrived!! [07 Oct 2008|05:42pm] royal_outlaw Yesterday evening I was reading the amazing package entries from the community, and hoping my partner wasn't one of the five "troubles"... Then going to wash my teeth, I spotted this cute little card: saying, "You've got a large letter. It didn't fit into your mailbox, so come and get it!!" (or something similar :D) ( It was my Package!
