We love all the characters gallivanting around in spandex! Who doesn't appreciate the practically married Captain America and Iron Man? Cable and Deadpool are way beyond bromance. Spider-man makes everyone gay. She-Hulk has epic boobs. Skrulls can shapeshift into any gender! Where is the love?!

1) Play nice. Follow the Golden Rule: Treat others as you would like to be treated.
That means:
-Respect other people's opinions.
-Avoid saying hurtful things. Sarcasm directed at another member, homo/heterophobic, or racist/sexist/ageist/anything '-ist' remarks, comments, or posts fall under this category.
-Keep in mind at all times that tone does not convey well on the internet, so what you meant as a joke or even just a neutral statement could be misconstrued.
-If you are offended by something someone says, there are positive and negative ways of responding. The best policy is to NOT lose your temper or respond in kind. If the post is truly offensive, please report it to the mod. If you have an issue with another member, please ask the mod to moderate. (That is why we're called 'moderators'!)
Violation of these rules will be dealt with a 'three strikes and you're out' policy. But I prefer being a nice mod, so play nice so I don't have to do modly, "Hand of MOD" things. :)
2) This community is for ANY Marvel universe slash pairing. We are a predominately 'male/male' slash comm, but f/f is accepted as well. Mixed gender moresomes will be allowed too. Gen fics are welcome as well, but please be sure the majority of your submissions are slash!
3) Crossovers with DC universe or any other fandom are A-okay! But it MUST have a Marvel character.
4) Please use lj cuts, and rate and tag your posts.

9) Please do not spam post. If you post multi stories over a series of single posts, I'm going to delete the excess.
10) Fanmixes are allowed! Share the musical love and chatter over the choices!
11) Proofread your fics before posting, please. The occasional typo is all right, but total disregard for spelling and grammar is hard on the eyes and disrespectful to your readers. If you need a beta, feel free to post on the comm looking for one, or ask the mod. I'd be happy to help you out.

Ratings
We allow G to NC-17 posting. Slash does not always mean sex.
Here are some general guidelines: (borrowed from http://www.wolfmoonslash.com/)
G: Has nothing in theme, language, sexual activity, or violence which would be considered objectionable by the vast majority of readers.
PG/PG-13: Has basically non-adult themes, but may contain mild violence, mild adult language, and hints of adult situations.
R: Includes adult themes, hard language, violence, non-graphic sexual situations, drug abuse or other elements, or any combination of the above.
NC-17: Has adult themes, adult language, graphic violence, graphic sexual situations, other similar elements, or any combination of the above. These stories are for adults over 17 only.
Please use your best judgment when rating your fic/art. The mod will not second-guess you unless your rating is flagrantly inaccurate.
Graphic details of sex, no matter if it's gay or straight, is considered NC-17.
1. Why LJ cut?
This rule is intended to show respect for people's friends pages because no one likes an image bomb taking up all their bandwidth, or having lots and lots of text to wade through. It's also to protect people from viewing NSFW (Not Safe For Work) material while they are at awkward places like work. And the last reason is to keep all marvel_slash material behind ratings so only those who truly want to read/see the material can choose to do so.
2. What about AUs, both 'Official' and Fan and RPs?
We like AUs, we like AoA and House of M stuff. We like Ultimate-verse things too. We also love fan-created AUs. RPs are fine as well, as long as it's formatted and spell-checked for clarity.
3. Original Characters?
No OCs, please. As a supporting character in a very minor role (i.e. Tony Stark goes to the convenience store and meets Joe the cashier, from whom he buys a corndog) is fine, but not if the OC has a major part in your story. Sorry.
4. What's this about no X-characters?
Until recently there was a ban on works involving any X-character, including Wolverine and Northstar. As of June 1, 2009, this ban was conditionally lifted. If you are predominately an X-fan, feel free to post your works but please do not flood the comm.
