AboutThis is a community dedicated to bringing together Americans who wish to meet and marry a partner from another nation. Your motives for being here may be to simply find an emigration ticket out of the US or to simply fufill that British accent fetishfantsy you've had all these years (okay, perhaps that's just me). Really. Other people like Americans (some do--I think) and Americans love accents and, let's face, half of us want to flee the country from the recent sentence of four more years of dictatorship. (Note, this community is being founded less than one week into November 2004--you do the math.)
Whatever your motives--this is the place for Americans and those who wouldn't mind marrying an American to meet up. Spread the love.

Disclaimer: This community was inspired by the satirical MarryAnAmerican site which wasn't at all real. So, alas, I created this little international pub of desperation on a bit of a lark. But we're still here for the seriously desperate. And to all you Brits out there remember--you can ask an American girl to show you her pants and we won't slap you. (Of course, we might not know what you mean either....)
