Finally I have fount YouTube evidence of the existance of The Two Marks (AKA The Boo Brothers), of which the lovely Mr Heap is one, from Ghost Train back in the heady days of the early 90s.

The quality's not great, but check out the blatant lack of surprise on the fat kid's face, as well as Mark's dodgy claxon horn and a blatantly 'made up five minutes ago' song. Larks!

I really can't choose just one, he makes me laugh more than any other character has in a long time.

Last night Alan was some much needed comic relief from the Caroline/Guy/Mac angst.

The best part was when he said he hoped all the patients died of poo, and called his colleagues, "Bloody fucksies". My Mother keeps saying that now, it's very disoncerting ;)

BTW, does anyone remember Alan's alphabet song?

What is your favourite show, that has featured Mark?
I really can't decide, I thought he was hilarious in Big Train and brass Eye, but for me, it come down to either Spaced or Green Wing. I think Green Wing would win, as he takes his performance to a whole new level of greatness, I love his mannerisms and ticks, he makes the character completely his own :)

I saw Mark Heap in a terrible corporate video while back. It was all about Effective Time Management, set in a book shop, and he didn't even have any lines. Nobody else in my office appeared to know why I was getting so excited. Has anybody else seen these? Are they part of a series covering different themes - tell me he gets a line in one of them!

Also - I think I've seen that other bloke who did The Two Marks (or was it The Boo Brothers?) on something recently, but I can't put my finger on it. Has anybody else spotted The Elusive Other Mark?

I was just wondering if anyone had any website building experience. There is a definite lack of Mark Heap fansites and i was wondering if we would all chip in to help make one. I had a go earlier this year... before realising i was shite. Am i being too idealistic?

I was casually flicking through Heat magazine (i'm not ashamed) it turns out Zoe Ball has a soft spot for Mark. Under 'Pin Up' in the My favourite Telly section she said...
"I'd like to come across Mark Heap, Dr Statham from the hospital comedy Green Wing. I do like a doctor!"
