AboutThis LJ is dedicated to Marillion, Fish and SteveH Band, also any other band that has come from the loins of Marillion.
The band formed in a town, not far from where I live (about 45mins drive,) called Aylesbury. In 1981 they had thier first UK number one hit with "Kayliegh", followed later in the '80's with "Incommunicado."
Marillion are still going strong today, over 20 years from when they first started. Even though thier fan base is a bit more select, they still produce one of the best live acts in the UK, and many fans have followed them around Europe on tour.
