I know some of us don't have mozilla installed and some are really, really annoyed by those "SNAP.SHOT" thing ... on other's lj...

So here's 2 way to modify it....

1 - Install Mozilla
     ** adds-on: AddBlock Plus
     ** Add a Filter Follow this explanation.

2 - Modify your host file
     ** Follow this explanation.


Either way, it works!!!

You are using Windows Live Messenger or MSN Messenger, and the ads are annoying as hell ?

Here are some tips and trick to get an MSN or a WLM add free...

On your computer open an Explorer windows

Go to your main Hard Drive (usually C:/) then follow this path: "C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts"

Host being the file we need.

=> Do a right click on the file, properties, and make sure that it is not in Read only mode if this is the case, uncheck the box Apply, OK.
=> Open the file with Notepad.

At the end of the file add this:

127.0.0.1        rad.msn.com
127.0.0.1        rad.live.com


The Space between 127.0.0.1 and Rad is and must be the Tabulation Tab.

Save

You're done, and your messenger is ads free!!!

   » 2 Column - Sidebar On the Right. Do NOT choose 1 column.
   » Click [Apply Layout].

Based on quirrc Explanations in This post

- First Update Semagic,
- Install it



- Choose your "Other Journal" (your Ij Login/ GJ login...)


- Then move your mouse into the field "Adult Content: Journal Default" - Right Click and select "Disable Adult Setting"


- Go back to the Usual Journal,

- Make a test post,
- Select "Post to Multiple Journals" -

- If all the entries are validated, you're Done
- If the process Failed, Check the "Other Journal" - The Adult Content must be Disabled. If not repeat the process.


- You want to reverse the process, don't worry. Place the mouse in the now disable area - Right Click and "Disable Adult Setting" - The Adult Content is now re-enable for the journal you want !!
