I just finished a layout ... based on the cleaned css from milou_veronica and on a wordpress theme called Blue_Zen.

If anyone is interested to test it...  the layout is live here sam_layoutest. Any suggestion is welcomed.

Hello,

Just wanted to tell you LJ had a problem today with "Original" layouts. This means all layouts linked to an external stylesheet were messed up. It wasn't my website at all, because I tried to link from 2 others websites and the layouts weren't showing either.

In this case, you just have to be P A T I E N T because I can't do anything. The only think I can suggest you, is to open a ticket HERE telling exactly what the problem is.

Maybe then Livejournal would do something.

LJ staff decided it was fun messing with us again, so they changed the URL of their fugly default graphics (in the entry, subject, the comment box, edit comments, locked/private icons, et cetera). So here's a heads-up for all of you who coded over them, like me.


Change all the http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/whatever.gif

With http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/whatever.gif.

In one word, change the p-stat to l-stat and it'll fix.

Like Always, if anyone has a layout made by me and some things are missing, just drop a line.

Hello folks,

If you have a layout made by me, with the coding hosted on my website, and with all the tiny icons code hosted on my PB account, be aware that PB screwed up big way, the album where they were hosted was still there but I couldn't access it anymore.

I had to rename the album from users to tiny_icons - So this means, that you users icons are maybe screwed, if this is the case, just let me know, because I have to go into your codding and change the tiny icons link.

brokeaholic I told you in the last comment to " grab the code host it on a website. " and you answered with a WTF. (Joking here - I can understand your frustration...) ... LOL

Well if you have already a Website or a web host, you grab the css provided in this entry  and save it there.

I found a solution that give free or plus account the possibility to get random headers without heavy coding.

1 - You need to know how to use a FTP client.
Under mozilla, simple download the addon: FireFTP
Under IE download Filezilla
Both are Free ...

2 - Go to Funpic.org create an account

3 - Once the account created, create the FTP account
- Activate the FTP Status
- Create a new password, needed for security.

Once that done, lunch your FTP client
Put in the needed informations:

Account name: Funpic
Host : ftp.YOURLOGIN.ma.funpic.org

Login: YOUR LOGIN
Password: YOUR PASSWORD

Login and it should work!

Once logged in create a folder, name it Header, or Random, or what you want.

Grab this code : Code for Random Headers save it on your Hard Drive, Change the Extension to .PHP

Log into your FTP account, put the file in the folder you created, then add the pictures you want for your header.

Once that done, go into your CSS, where you normally put your header.

Exemple: for Flexible Square, here's the code I use on my personal LJ:

#header {position: relative; height: 300px; background: url(YOUR IMAGE LINK) top center no-repeat;}


Put this instead:
#header {position: relative; height: 300px; background: url(http://maril11.ma.funpic.org/marillapm67/36/randomizer.php) top center no-repeat;}

The red code, being the link to your randomizer header. Don't forget this code is formatted for my own LJ, you have to tweak it for yours.

That's it, you are done.

- Download this add on : Magic's Video - Download - Restart Firefox.

Then go Here and download the program.

Install it, extract the zip in one Folder. (that's important)
