I'm totally with you. Ron Paul is what this country needs in order to put itself back together and not be a complete embarrassment to the rest of the world.

I wouldn't vote for him- conservative is still conservative albeit he is the only non neo-con I can think of- though among the group of total fucking stupid and insane and just goofy (cough McCain cough) sound-byte speaking Republicans up for nomination, Paul offends me the least by far. If I wasn't attached so to the democrats- who, to be sure, have their own problems- I'd probably vote for him.

he's not a neo-con. he is a traditional or true conservative, calling for limited government.

Fuck. ROn. Paul.

Yes, he's pro-drugs and anti-war, but he's incredibly regressive.

Small Government libertarianism doesn't work. Rolling back the EPA, IRS, OSHA, FBI and every other federal program under the sun sets us -back-.

We need a presidential candidate who's squared in reality. Like, say, Dennis Kucinich.

I like Ron Paul, at least his libertarian ways. And he does, by far, have the best voting record of any of the other candidates. Too bad John Edwards dropped out of the race, he had my vote. I'm NOT digging Obama, or Clinton, or McCain- so go Nader?
