AboutWelcome to the first LJ community for the book series-turned-anime 「マリア様がみてる」(Maria-sama ga Miteru -- The Virgin Mary is watching over us)! This series is relatively new, but the stats for its run so far are that it's due to be about 13 episodes, running daily in Japan each week on wednesdays, 1-1:30 AM on TV Tokyo. This title began its run in January 2004. Its content is yuri, or the love between females, so we do have some ground rules here in order to keep the peace:
1. No bashing of gay stuff. I mean, c'mon, this is what this series is about, so if you don't like it, don't join.
2. Don't start shit with the members or mod. That's just retarded, and we WILL ban you without a second thought.
3. Don't start making posts requesting on "OMG WHERE CAN I FIND THE ANIME/BOOKS/WHATEVER" -- we will provide some links further down this page. If you keep doing it, we will ban you.
4. Any large pics or fics? Put 'em behind a LJ cut. Both are welcome!
5. Any spoilers MUST be put behind a cut.
6. Any explicit material (Yuri, Lolicon, hentai, ect) must be labeled with a warning. This includes pictures, fics, and links to other sites.
7. We are mean bitches and will yell at you. But only if you do something wrong. <3
8. Have fun.
11. RULE 11: People using random japanese that usually do not know it otherwise has really gone up in recently on this community. It's pissed me off to no end. I'm going to ask now that unless you actually know Japanese (taken a class, engaged in serious self study with kanji and all -- NO, JAPANESE FOR DUMMIES OR WATCHING ANIME DO NOT COUNT AS SERIOUS STUDY!), you refrain from using random Japanese (KAWAII!, -sama, gomen nasai, et. al) on this community. It contributes to the degredation of this community as a whole. It makes us sound ignorant and retarded.
Any probs? Come to the mods.
