Hey, I'm new to this community and just wanted to share some icons I made recently with you all... Starring Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey, & Jessica Simpson. Note: While I am not a Jessica Simpson fan, I happened to have stumpled upon her video for "I Belong to Me" and I simply just love the song and the video was very emotional and beautifully done. I do make icons frequently, so you all are welcome to come past my graphics community/journal often for updates if you are intereted.

Hi all, thought I'd post up my webomic that I've been working on. It's basically a comic that stars Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston. It parodies female celebrities and the "diva" tag that they have. So far it's been really well recieved, so I thought I would spread the word! Mystery Science Theater 3000s Mike Nelson and for the first time as his riffing partner, Mary Jo Pehl have this week released their RiffTrax for Mariah Carey's Glitter!

If you're a fan of movies that feature screaming, megalomaniacal divas and their relationships to shirtless guys, you have so far been limited to Barbra Steisand's "A Star is Born". But now, like a nut-covered cheese log from heaven comes Mariah Carey's "Glitter" - the film that, more than even her decade long string of unlistenable pop songs, landed her in the loony bin where she spent several months writing lyrics on the padded walls of her recovery room using a thick crayon held between her toes. A film that, without the barest hint of shame or irony, features as a centerpiece the Robert Palmer song, "I Didn't Mean to Turn You On." A film that, against all laws of logic and common sense, gives a prominent role to the former Mr. Halle Berry (a.k.a, Eric Benet.)

No one, not even Mike, is dumb enough to take this one without some serious help. And serious help he got in the person of former MST3K cast member Mary Jo Pehl. A true RiffTrax event!

I got amazing floor seats for the Mariah Carey and Sean Paul concert for Sunday August 18th at Air Canada Center for sale. Unfortunately I can't make it but have tickets for her 2nd show. This show has been sold out!!

I was in a clothing store today that plays current pop/hip-hop hits: "Check on it", "Run it", "Don't Forget About Us (remix)"... Anyway. So there was an MC song I have NEVER heard before. It was totally new and I'm positive it's Mariah because she did her dolphin whistle at the end. This song is NOT on the Emancipation, NOT even on the Ultra-Platinum. Anybody hear this song and/or know what it is?!
