I took a point in PKB, and I like how it does more damage for when I (HAVE TO) smack with my xbow but,
it doesn't knock back (bowman style) block gollems? Why? Is this because I'm not high enough level?

I've been thinking this morning about the "breaking point" for beginners in MS, especially after reading http://community.livejournal.com/maplestory/1975048.html

For me, the breaking point so far seems to be the fact that I forced myself into killing fire boars non stop (at level 37, I think). Not hoping to get any drops, or making any money, or finding the famous glass shoe, but simply because of the most simple concept in the whole game, I suppose: *growing*. I too wonder how it is that people manage to become so rich, or wear really awesome gear, or sit at level ninetyish. It isn't magic, but perseverance! [Again, all this when it comes to first characters, which haven't had initially any funds whatsoever] Or the believe that perhaps one day one might be able to reach that level too.

Quick question, how does one go about reporting a hacker? Under normal circumstances, I usually mind my own business, assuming hackers are bound to get banned anyway, or, well, it's their choice to play dirty. Today, however, I came across the meanest of all.

Ok so my Monday has been terrible so far. I woke up late for work making me rush through my morning so I could get here on time, had a HUGE brown recluse spider in my SHOE, and then I decide to get some Mapling in because it will make my morning better.

I got kicked out of the guild I was in. lol I was the most active member (aside from the weekend, but I usually am on 8 - 5 every weekday, thank god for my job and multitasking lol). I was meaning to quit the guild anyway because nobody talked to me or anything but it was pretty fantastic she kicked me out.

But I'm almost level 30 (yay!) so today has been a pretty good leveling day for me thus far.

My friend and I have come across a lot of good equips recently and we've stored them all on my FM mule. It's been difficult to sell in the last few days because of how crowded FM is from mushroom stores and how few people seem to be online on Bera now because of the Belolcan contest. Anyhow, because of this, my mule's equip slots were all full of decently good stuff to sell and I was making my rounds through FM looking for a spot to open a store.

Channel 1, Free Market 7, I see a hole and run towards it, only to lose it to a lvl 4 mule. I turn around and start walking away when he opens his store. I think, eh, what the hell, why not check it out.

He had 2 items in his store. An Evil Wings and a Dark Sonata. The Dark Sonata was priced at 300 million mesos. The Evil Wings was priced at 1 meso.


BUY BUY BUY!!! OH CRAP, MY EQUIP INVENTORY IS FULL! OH CRAP, SOMEONE ELSE JUST CAME INTO THE STORE AND BOUGHT IT! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

So I'm fighting in Henesys hunting ground 2. When I see a little red dot come hopping at me. The conversation went a little like this.

Then she does the F2 face and cc

I don't care if I'm 22 I thought this outfit was cute, even if it does make my character look like she's 5. XD

So I was down in the Dungeon fighting some Zombie Mushrooms for charms. Right now I have 2 quests that need them, I already had the 40 I needed originally for one quest so when I was fighting them and saw "Quest Completed 'Somebody's...etc" I went YAY and hit the scroll back to Kerning. Not thinking about that I needed 100 + 40. *cries*

I'm glad I buy scrolls for towns in sets of 4.

So this post isn't completely useless.

Anyone on Broa need any of the following? I don't know what most of this runs for market value so make an offer if you want anything.

Alright. Sometime TODAY, yes TODAY, my dad will be moving the computer into MY ROOOOM! <3 yaaaaay! *confetti all around* Within a few minutes I will be switching accounts to the one enabled for MapleStory play, download the patch (Hopefully It still can, as it's been a while and stuffs) and run maple, press quit, and see if any errors pop up. Acording to my sister's friend who also played MS with Norton, she said that she had the same problem, and with the new patch it's gone. Man, I hope she's right. >___> So,  Expect/Hope I will be sitting on Kise within the next few minutes :D I'll prolly open up IE after closing MS if it works and edit this to tell you all if it does ^__^

Today has been very...eventful on MS. xD

A few days ago, I scrolled my 73MA Evil Tale and ended up with a +4.
I was veryy happy, one of my most successful scrollings ever, aside from my Nap. It's 4int and 81 MA now =D yay!

( But this fact just leads into my adventure... )

And I've got to remember to take pictures. It'd make my story much more interesting. Especially since I could have gotten some fun ones of Pink Jazz going after Dark Yetis.

OH! And the whole point of the story is that I'm buying 60% Wand M.Atk Scrolls, while I debate whether to scroll my new Tale or not. At the rate prices dropped, I don't think it's worth selling (only about 2 mill from what I see on Basil and I can get 5mil from the 81 atk one, assuming I do better on the clean....)

Yes. xD I'm hoping to stay under 600k for each, the first three I've gotten were 550k, 550k, and 575k, if I can stay in that price range, I can scroll all 7 slots for under 4 mil. OH. On Windia. I almost forgot!!

So, having turned 80 I've been searching for an Omega Spear. But for some reason EVERY SINGLE chance I have to get a spear turns out bad.

Spear 1:
I megaphone for a scrolled Omega. I find one person selling one to my specifications amongst all the spam. The guy wants way more than me and Sami(awesome friend who lends me monay)can afford put together. Sami and I made enough money in our shops tonight to cover the cost of it *now* though, but the guy isn't online of course.

Spear 2:
I go look on Basil. See one with the same stats as the one I found from the megaphone for considerably less and autowin it right away. When I see the guy online later that night, he doesn't respond to my whispers, so I open up a chat with him. It goes something like this:

me: hi
him: hi
me: i won your omega spear for 55mil
him: oh
him: my friend has that
me: i see
me: is he online?
him: no
him: sec(His lazy-ass version of "one sec" or "hold on a sec" I guess)
*I wait 5 minutes for him to start talking again*
He said some stuff in between, I guess it wasn't important cause I don't remember it. But he says "sec" again and I wait another 5 minutes. Then he comes back, the talking bubble appears over his head, then dissapears without him typing anything, he invites some character in noobish outfit that looks like a mule and leaves.

Then that person proceeds to tell me in terrible english that he sold the Omega Spear to someone else for 50mil. Ugh.

Spear 3:
It's been a while since my last megaphone, so I decide to megaphone again. I get two offers I like this time. I start talking to the one I like better, and write the name of the other person down.

The first thing that lead me to suspect that this might be another letdown was how good the price was, and that they agreed to my offer so quickly. Anyways, they do stupid shit like saying they're going to the bathroom, saying that they can't get into the FM because it won't let them go in when they press up... I chat invite them, and it's a low level person. A strange looking low-level person with CS and a guild with an emblem, but still level 17.

me: you really don't look like you would have an Omega Spear
me: were you just messing around with me the entire time?
her: =3 (no response could have pissed me off more than this)

and then I went into a very sarcastic, angry rant at her. It really shut her up. After I was finished with this next guy, I went and defamed her 7 times, with some of my aforementioned friend's help. It actually put me into a better mood.

If you feel like defaming her or whatever, her name is Syaif on Bera.

Spear 4:
So I remembered I had written down another offer that seemed to be real from my second megaphone. I was wrong. I message the guy, everything is going great, I'm getting a decent price after a bit of hagglin'. Everything's worked out, he says he's gonna bring his mule with the spear. I think "Finally, after all of that I'm going to get an omega spear".

We had agreed that it was going to be a 105 attack spear. I don't wanna take anything less than 104 because my Redemption(level 70 spear) was 103. Then he comes into FM and says "its 103 att ill take 45mil", and trade requests me. Ugghhhhh. This stupid guy was probably just trying to get a price check on his new spear.

SOMEONE SELL ME AN OMEGA SPEAR ;_;

In other news I killed my first crog on angelicQT after hours of orbis/vic rides!! =) Seriously I went to Ch1 and there STILL was no crog! That drove me mad =P But eventually... I killed one! =)

No, seriously. I would if I could. Did wizet make the rogs on the ship to Orbis more common or something? Because I need to get the Maplehistory book, and ive heard that a good way to get it to spawn is to go in and out of the cabin. Well, I figured since I had some quests to finish up in Ludi and Omega, I may as well go, and try and get the book while im at it. So I find myself an empty channel, get on the ship, and within one minute the balrogs come, and since I didnt have magic guard on I died before I had a chance to go in. Soo i get on the next ship, and within one minute, I notice the music change. And this time, I was prepared, so I ran in. I waited a minute, and went to the lower level to double check, and of course the balrogs were back. I managed to make it to Orbis alive, but it REALLY ticked me off that I didnt get a chance to go in and out, to get the damned book to spawn. Sooo just asking, was it just a fluke that I had rogs twice in a row, or are they all of a sudden more common -_-

due to me being bored, and giving in to the scary thing called trickster (OH NOOOOES... the download is OHSOSLOOOOOOW)) i have decided to write a little story ... about a place called maple... a... maplestory, if you will.
