I've been playing maple story for a few weeks now. After a few days I had to start over due to my first character, still a beginner, getting stuck in the dungeon with no way out. The only way was through deletion. After that little set back I now have a Level 17 Swordsman on Broa named ShadowEnd.

This little character has been through everything, stalking, scaming, hacker lags, you name it. But not until today on her first trip to Orbis that I didn't make her accidentally die on did anyone say anything about my fashion sense. I found this conversation between the two other people on the boat quite funny myself. Also keep in mind that I don't have enough money for better shoes and at the time I was using my Fork on a Stick.

And why don't I share my first Christmas tree all but a little late, a little old, and really stupid because I couldn't get it to come out like I wanted it not to mention all I had were a bunch of letters...that I didn't use but ten of plus three numbers.

Maybe it's just me, but... At the beginning of a level, things seem to go really slow. Then as that experience bar fills up, they seem to go faster. Then you're at 9x% and all "gogogogogogogogogogo!" And then, *DING!*

I've levelgasmed into 52, now it's back to the slow part. Ho hum. But the freaking block golems are still awesome at about 15% per hour! :O And I've been hanging out on Eos 8 for so long, I've gotten every single drop the yellow ones give except the blue shouldermail top. It's only a matter of time, though... >:D

i can only assume something horrible has happened to him by now, but that's ok. i got a fantastic deal on some swampland in Florida! bratty little chimp had it coming anyway.

(I swear this is Maplestory related.) I haven't enjoyed/regularly watched South Park in years, but last night's season premier struck a chord with me. Basically, the boys were playing World of Warcraft when a rogue player killed them all. Apparently in WoW, you need to duel someone and the other person must accept before you can fight. This high level had found a way to bypass that and was just able to kill everyone in sight. Long story short, Blizzard despairs over the situation as there's "nothing they can do." The boys decide to become high level players too in an attempt to try and defeat the player killer. Blizzard decides to back them.

Meh, it made me think of MapleStory (and a few other MMORPGs I've played.) The point of it was that the creators of the game (think Wizet/GMs) were powerless to stop hackers/those who could act outside of the rules of the game and so they relied on players to dispense their own justice/handle the problem (a la megaphones.)

those are all the commands for level 1. if you look really close.... the monkeys poo when you say "pee!" they also fart, which is hilarious if you happen to have a friend behind them =D

EDIT: Good god, I didn't realize how sensitive people were on this community. Makes me feel like I'm the only person that rags on n00bs.

Perhaps I'm just a cold heartless bitch? I assumed the name MESO MAGNET was quite obvious, but I suppose not. Maybe I am the only person on this game that's annoyed by what I feel to be stupid questions.

I realize that there are new people to the game, and I understand that. There are things that you have to ask about to get an answer to. Groovy tunes and that jazz. But if it's a question about something that should be OBVIOUS BY ITS NAME, it makes me lose just a bit more faith in humanity.

mysteriousmeat Yes, I think he is dumb for asking a simple question.

dismembering I highly doubt that his english was flawed. His spelling was okay, as was his sentence structure. And, if he has trouble with English, he shouldn't speak it. But, you know. I'm a bitch.

i was hunting at The Tree That Grew I, training my new Bandit (you'd never guess it by his name, right?) when a mage came in, walked straight over to the slimes i was fighting, and cast Bolt a few times. i yelled at him for it, then changed channels and got on with my life.

i Alt+Tabbed out to look at something on HS.net, and when i came back, he had moved over to the new channel, too...

( much love and all that gooey stuff to anyone from Scania... i promise i was only trying to provoke him. ;-) )

i'm glad i made this Bandit... he's already brought me more enjoyment than most other characters i've had. i managed to level twice (from 11 to 13) during all of this.
