Hi all :) I was speaking with a bowman friend tonight and he started asking me questions about his skills. Having never made a bowman, I had no clue what he was talking about, but offered to ask ya'll for advice :) So if you'll spare me a moment, this is what he was asking:

I have a question
I have FA at 19 but I messed up and put arrow bomb at 8
So should I get AP resets and put it back at 1 and max FA?
If I don't, won't my stats be permanently messed?

Which caused my blank stare and recommendation of coming to the comm. ;) Any advice? Thanks much!!

I've got a favor to ask of those of you on Windia..
Some of you may have seen Pat's (triggerhelpless) entry in maplecomm earlier about a massive defame he received. We're actually not sure of the final count, but it was definitely more than 16!

This was the basic story:
[01:54:12 PM] Pat: He was in my shop, he started telling me that my prices were a ripoff
[01:54:23 PM] Pat: I ignored him because my friend Dan was in there and we were talking.
[01:54:48 PM] Pat: He went on and on and then started insulting me before he started leaving and re-entering my shop over and over and over for several minutes. So I banned him. Then he defamed.



Extremely frustrating, you see, especially since this guy is a level 118 priest who apparently has nothing better to do with his Maple time than defame people.

The initial reaction was "well, let's get him back, then," which is why you saw the post last night. Since then we've had time to think and calm down (and to see that not only have our defames not made a dent, but he's actually gone up in fame since then.

And Pat's even said that he doesn't care much about his fame.

Except for one thing. People associate low fame to hackers.

You see, Pat is a spearman. It's hard enough to be a legit spearman with all the hacker accusations running around these days, but to be a legit spearman who has been massively defamed for no real reason is nearly impossible. And that's the one thing that is really upsetting.

With the low fame, he'll just get even more accusations that he doesn't want.
So, if you've the time, or the spare fame, and would be willing to give Pat a boost or two on his spearman, Patsmells, I'd really appreciate it.
Between the two of us, we should be able to give you a small boost, too, it just might have to be spread out over a few days.

A quick question for smacksaw or anybody else thats ever had a dexless warrior:

What do I do with the last 6 skill points? (level 29 and 30's skill points.)

I have PS maxed, SlashBlast maxed, max hp increase maxed, and 5 points into hp recovery. What do I do now? put it all into endure? or one into endure and the last 5 into hp recovery? (btw, I just leveled to 29 and I probly won't level again this weekend. Got LOTS of homework to cover. But I need to know for when I DO level. lol.)

Would "Blue seaweed road" be a good place for me to train my warrior?

She has 27 acc with all of her gear on and a acc pill. (the one from ludi) She's also currently level 27 and training on horned mushrooms. (currently at 70% and I'm only getting around 8% every 10 minutes.)

That's blue seaweed road, for anybody who doesn't know. The monsters there have 1 more avoid then the horned mushrooms have, and they also have around 200-250 more HP then the horned mushrooms. (one of the monsters has the same weapon defence, while the other(the one with 250 more hp then horny mushies have) has 10 less w.def)

And ofcourse the horny mushroom only gives 35 EXP while these two give 45 and 42 respectively. (though, both of them have 5 more weapon attack then the horny mushroom, so I would take more damage...) And the map is a lot bigger.. o_O (I've never been there before, so I don't know how good the spawn is.) should I just stay with horned mushrooms till level 30? (or maybe a bit of zombie mushrooms? though the acc. calc I use(the one linked from the SW forums) says I'd still miss horny mushrooms a bit. x_x)

Edit: Also, I have a 60% scroll for bow for attack. Got it from Jane's quest. Can anybody tell me how much it's worth?

I just reached level 25 and... I need some help, lol.

First of all, should I stick with my level 20 +1 dex 20w.def pants, or switch to the +1 str 25w.def pants?

Secondly! Should I use my fish spear? (stats: 45 attack, 5 acc/5 speed) or use the pig book/triangle shield? (more defence, and the pig book has 10 acc and.. it SAYS a faster speed. XD but... it has less of a reach and it only has 42 attack.)

according to MS, using fish spear I have: 20-307 attack.

with pig book I have: 19-252

Thats a whoping 55 attack difference! x_X

But.. more acc so I have a wider range of monsters to fight... baaah

I'm having issues with Maple. Namely a blue screen of death.

Update: Everything is fixed. ^^; I did a Windows Update and, 44 updates later, the game works.

I guess I should check for updates more often. >_>...

I finally made 34 today, due to the Maple History Book quest, which I just realized I had finished, and didn't need to train as much. >__< I have one level until I get new clothes, and alot more money (as I sell my junk, because I am uber poor xD), but that level's gonna take ages. I won't be on all day tommorow, being that I have a pixel I want to do, cosplay to start, and places to go (D: I want my day to be a day oooff!). Basically, Just see if I'm on when you are, and If I am, whisper me if you're on Ludi/Omega. xD

And if you're on now, yey. I'm still on, I can use all the help I can. ;)


Oh, and anyone know what "invalid pointer" means? I was wandering the Cash shop a while ago, and I forgot what I clicked on, but it faded out and then came up with that error. Had to re-log in. O__o

Oh, and I like my new default av to much to swap to my D-D-R Kise one. xD

My friend had his hotmail broken into, his password changed, and his secret question answer changed.
After emailing Wizet numerous times without any hope of it being recovered any time soon, I was wondering if there was ANYTHING else he could do in hopes of retrieving his account.
I've heard of people getting their stuff back in the time ranges of one day to like, three months...
Is it just wait on Wizet to be reliable or is there any place he can direct his emails other then that stupid email of inquiry which never works anyway...?

Ok so I'm a I/L wizard with 3 sp in MP eater and 1 in teleport.

I was looking at the skills, trying to figure out what to put my stat points. I don't know what to do.

Any I/L around that can give me some tips on where to put stuff and where a good place to train is (I'm lvl 31)? I don't want to screw myself over.

Okay, so, this is going to be a weird entry, BUT, I'm a big scroller through this community.

NO, kidding, not that kind of scrolling, I meant, I like to zip past enteries via my mouse scroll ball. While I can still do this, why the heck is it so slow? The main page loads slow too. Is it the layout, the content, what, what is it? TELL ME. I'm dying to know if I can fix it or if it's a maplecomm thing & I should just sit back & shut up.


Now, for my next paragraph, I'm a level 27 bandit-to-be & would like to find a Kerning PQ with at least one intelligent, I'll even be loose with this, just have a pulse & speak some sort of Engrish, in. Okayyy so for my friend i'm going to ask a question that's probably been addressed plenty of times. Does the weapon speed actually matter when casting magic? Cause my friend is torn between wands and staves. Yeah...

Okay and as for me, I need someone to help me with that lvl 60 quest, protect ludibrium. I'm a lvl 72 CB on bera and yeah i'll be 73 soon. Hopefully a priest or a Dk might want to help me out...or maybe both...lol.
That quest is really hard so...if you dont wanna risk dying, then don't offer to help xD

Annnddd I'm buying 10 percent scrolls for defense on tops and bottoms. Remember, i'm on BERA.

Ho-hum..the patch is being bratty and not responding. I double-click the lovely mushroom icon, it goes to the patch download screen.. claims that it is "Working on the new patch" but then..it stays blank.

And Task Manager says that the Wizet Patcher is 'Not Responding'.

So, other people at there with more amazing MS and Computer skills than I... have you any advice?

Now, I know for sure I did not spend 150$ on my gf OR me (all 3 accounts?!! Hell no, I'd be in a LOT of trouble)

So is there a glitch going on or something? Because I just can't see how I would've spent about 600$ (No way) in a month. I have maybe 50$ worth of clothes, same for my GF but it seems both of our limits are exceeded.

As for my bandit's acct, I haven't bought NX for her since JUNE and its giving me that message.

Although 70 is still a little way off for me (I'm 90% of the way to level 62.. 810%!) I'm trying to think what I should be working towards and what I'll be working on first.

My current skills are:

Improving HP Recovery - 5
Improving MaxHP Increase - 10
Endure - 3
Iron Body - 13
Power Strike - 20
Slash Blast - 20

Sword Mastery - 19
Final Attack - 10 (currently working on this.)
Sword Booster - 6
Rage - 19
Power Guard - 30

That leaves me another 27 SP to use by the time I hit 70.

I was planning to get FA so it works 50% of the time and does 225% Sword damage. That leaves me with 12 left. If I go back and max Iron Body for the full +40 wep def... that leaves me 5. Should I just pump all of that into Booster, or will the 1 extra accuracy help me (as a warrior with 60 dex)? Or even max FA since it's almost there anyway. It'll make it work 60% of the time with 250% damage. But then I need to cast Booster more often... at least at 10, I can cast it with PG each time.

I know it's a small thing... but I'm seriously unsure. xD

And then, when I'm a Crusader... should I go all Combo to start with until maxed? Or is it worthwhile putting 1 point into a finisher like Panic after 3 points into Combo? I'm gunna skip MP recovery until the very, very end (assuming I have spare points anyway) and Shield mastery I'm not entirely sure on either... if I do it, it'll be last. (1H sword/Shield Sword Fighter is what I am).

Also, how much can I reasonably expect to pay for +10 -> +12 ATK Work Gloves? I only have around 15mil at the moment, but I feel like a warrior should have ATK WG and I've never had a pair! ;_;

hey everyone! i was wondering if anyone knew any more of the word shortcuts for emotes other than 'haha' 'hehe' 'cry' and 'sob'

my friend cant make a lot of the faces because her keyboard is wonky and all her F keys are set a certain way and shes tried almost everything to fix them blahbla so only some work for her. we really want to figure out the words for f3 face since its the only one she cant do D:D:D: thank you everyone ::hugs and kisses you all so hard your heads fall off::

Anyone mod-wise know why? Glitch? Something change...someone changed something? Should I escalate this to the LJ support? Anyone else seeing it like this now?
