I have a couple of questions:

1. Is anyone here a (preferably 4X) Cleric on Khaini that would be willing to party with me at Wraiths for like 10 minutes, just so I can get about 50 medicines with weird vibes and then go to Z Lupins so I can get some cursed dolls? I'm lvl 42 I/L Wiz (I went lit first) if that makes any difference.

2. When do sins start making a lot of money? I just made one in hopes of funding my Wiz a little more but at the minute its draining all my money from that to train it.

3. Anyone selling Glove atk scrolls? And I'm selling 60% Earrings for Int. (Both on Khaini again)

4. Where should I be training my previously mentioned Wiz?

Or is there just nothing I can do? xP It's the third random defame in two days, I'd kind of like to know what I'm doing wrong or how I've become a target. o.o; Any advice? OMG, Where do I hide??!! xD

In other news, I'm almost level 60, Cleric, and training is getting so tedious. Soul teddies take a lot of MP, Master Chronos are boring, DSGs and Zlupins both have too many idiots coming through. Any one know any good places to train (that won't cost a fortune in MP pots)?

2nd job celebration!

So. I finally made it to level 30.

In celebration Ko and I squiggled into the depths of time to get ourselves killed. :B

I attempted to sneak by a Deep Buffoon, however after barely touching pixels I fell and died instantly.
Ko, who had dark sight, managed to go down a bit further, died by Gate keeper, also dying instantly.

We have vowed to one day kill the Gate Keeper together. ♥

I've also updated my "MS - Squee!" icon. :B

Cleric Heal Question

My boyfriend and I have been debating lately about Cleric healing. He claims that he gets more exp from healing warriors because they have a higher max HP.


him: i like partying with warriors....bc i get so much exp from heals
me: you'd get the same from partying with any other class that does equal dmg
him: u heal warriors more bc they are always taking dmg
me: still every class takes dmg... warriors have higher def, too
me: you dont actually get exp from each heal
him: yea you do
him: every time u heal u get exp
me: noooo
him: if i heal someone and they are regaining hp i get exp
him: the exp i get is directly proportional to the % i heal of them


He makes absolutely no sense to me, heal just... heals! There is no exp bonus from healing. Please tell me that I'm right!! And if I'm wrong, explain please o____o

A good Party Cleric build?

Can anyone help me with a good party cleric build? Whether it be your own or one from a website. I really need some tips and my friends aren't being much help. I'm lvl 31 right now and I have 3 points into Heal and one into Teleport. I want to know of a good build early before I mess up. D= Any help please?

Lvl 50, yay! Creepy people, not-yay!

Today I finally got to level 50 on my cleric. I've wanted to wear the lvl 50 outfit I had so bad. ^__^

However, I've had so many people hitting on my character. o_o... A lvl 15 magician insisted I become his "Maple girlfriend". After a few moments of him begging, I told him he was getting creepy and he gave up. >_>...

Then, a little while later, a guy comes into my shop saying I'm hot. After he announced it to everyone in FM 3... I found him rather amusing though.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I'll be out of my house for about a month. I'll still have Internet connection but it's really very crappy and it'll only be in the evenings.

Anyway a good friend of mine got bored of his Chief Bandit and is making a spearsman, so I'm making a Cleric to go with it. It'll be a nice cleric and won't discriminate against Crusaders. Yea :\

I don't think it'll be my MAIN character, I still loves my Fire Mage. But it's surpisingly nice to have a change.

When Claine2 was like... level 20 I promised myself I'd never make another Magician. Ever. And here I am D:...

But this is my fist ever one with Claw. During my first one I was uneducated and ruined her, she took max bolt. My second one went with the one bolt route, and I've never regretted it. So for someone with a years experience with magicians and magicians alone, this is a first xD

Anyway he's like level 15 atm. The name is s2doopLah if you want to add him. Also on Bera.

Two questions...

Like the title says, I have two questions.

First, I was wondering how much I might get for the gold moon shoes I scrolled (on Khaini). The shoes themselves were average. I scrolled on a bit of speed and jump to them (I can't remember the exact amount). I was just wondering if I'd make any money on them when I decide to sell them.

My second question... My cleric is lvl 48 and I think her attack is pretty bad. It ranges from 250 to 450 depending on the monster (magic claw). Back in my noob days, I put points into Str and Dex (thinking to make a "well-rounded" character) which brought them both up to 12. I can't abandon this character since I'm put so much time, mesos, and (real) money into her.

So, would those wasted points make that much of a difference or is my attack range just about right? When I use Heal on undead things, I can do up to 700 points of damage. I don't want to spend the money that would take off 1 AP to get the stats to where they should be.

Homebrew justice

Before I start, if my posting/replies are sporadic, I am sick as a dog. Been that way for a week. Been puking like mad. Hell, tonight's events came after a royal ralphfest. I haven't played in awhile, and when I have played, it hasn't been much...just something to do while sitting upright between being laid up in bed with a nasty cold.

I have no idea how much of this post will make sense, but I'll tell the story of how I banished an intruding KSer with nothing but skill.

So anyway, I hope that wasn't too convoluted. It makes sense to me, at least how I wrote it. If you've played a Cleric, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about, how that stuff works and whatnot.

If you haven't played a Cleric, I guess the moral is that this guy was a lazy button masher and I was trying and doing stuff he didn't understand, and probably couldn't even see due to lag. It's realtime for me, but looks screwy to him, even when I'm playing side-by-side PCs it looks wierd. There's stuff getting hit by Heal and I'm not even near it, because I've already left by the time he catches up.

Oh if only I had Fraps working...it's nice to put these people back in their place without needing help, defame wars, whatever. Just wanting it more.

advice needed.

I have 2 [annoying] questions that I'm sure have been answered many times before. still! I hope that someone can give me a little advice & I will be on my merry way.

1. I have a ton of ores. I've never used a single one. I'd like to know if it'd be good to get rid of any of the following ores. what should I keep? and the ones that can go, how much could I sell them for? I'm on Bera.



2. I'm a lvl 45 Cleric. max heal. working on maxing HA. what should I do next? should I put a point into teleport? so far I don't have anything in teleport. I know someone helped me with this a loooong time ago, but I forgot =x

Thunderbolt or heal?

I'm a level 27 mage nearing my first job advancement. One small problem though... I still don't know if I want to be ice/lightning mage or a cleric. :(

I totally want to be I/L mage purly for the thunderbolt skill (using DL as a priestess on PristonTale was hella fun), however being a cleric wouldn't be so bad (yay party heal). Plus the priests can summon dragons, which I think is shit cool. So, I have a small stack of questions for all you experienced Maplers.

1) Can I become an I/L mage and then advance to priest, or is it just cleric > priest and I/L wizard > I/L Mage?

2) Are the items for the magic/summoning rocks hard to get, and what level can I actually begin questing for them?

3) What is your input on being an I/L wizard/mage and/or Cleric/Priest? Which one do you think is better?

4) Not really a quesetion, but I'm also willing to listen to any other advice on either job advancement.

I am now a level 49 cleric, attempting to do Ludi PQ.  I have a question to all clerics:

How exactly do you manage to stay alive at Alishar?  I have a knack for dying there.  O____o

I've tried it with and without magic guard.  I died both times.  My party tells me to spam heal, so I spam heal.  I die.  Alishar seals me.  I die, when Alishar attacked me while I was pressing on the all-cure potion.  

The problem is, if I use magic guard, two hits and I'm out of MP, meaning I need to hold down my pot button or else I die.

If I don't use magic guard, I die unless I spam heal, but if I spam heal, my MP dies, meaning it will take me along with it.  O__o

Some things I'd like to know:

Do you use Magic Guard or not?

What kind of mana pots do you use?

Spam heal or no spam heal?

First of all, THANK YOU SO MUCH to those who have replied!  I think I've realized what I've been doing wrong during my Ludi PQs..

-trying to attack Alishar and teleporting around to heal party members at the same time
-not paying enough attention as I should, to my MP bar
-by only using blue pots (they heal only 100 mana each time!)

The way i see it, tele is the better choice. 

I don't believe there was ben a tele vs mp eater debate yet, so I figure now is as good as time as ever to get it out of the way.

The Barefoot Cleric!

Welcome to my tale of my adventures as a Barefoot Cleric. Ever since the opening of the Omega Sector, I have battled Aliens and Giant Robo-Squids. But my tales is about the accursed Mecateons... They are said to hold a legendary staff of power called "Thorns" And I desided to make it my quest to hunt those Alien Squid till they gave up this legendary staff.

As time passed I managed to sneak my barefootedness into there hidden base, Mecateon Field as I'll call it. I watched as they guarded these large metal space boxes. But those were not my target... I had to find the one that held the legendary staff...

so far I've taken 3,000 of the aliens down in my quest.

And the only leads I've gotten are a bunch of scraps of paper for how to make Daggers and a piece of Female Warrior Armor...

Just like these aliens... all about there daggers and stealing womens armors. I shall find that legendary staff!!!

*side note. That past contest that was not properly finished will be addressed with it's winner tomorow.*
